REPORT: Markkanen for Kuminga, Moody, GP2, and Picks?!

For all those players, why would you also give picks? Like Utah need to decide if they want picks or young players. All those young players alone is a huge haul.

If you offered me Markkanen for Kuminga plus the Warriors getting two picks, I'm not sure I'd do it. All this talk of giving the Jazz Kuminga plus added the future seems wild to me when I'm pretty confident Kuminga will be the better player moving forward. At this point I want to just see Kuminga as a full time starter and see where the team is at in six months.

Why would Thr Jazz trade for Kuminga gas if they don’t plan on extending him…so basically they only gona get picks cuz a moody is up for an extension too and who knows if they wanna pay him

In regards to picks- given our track history and depth, it's not like those picks will see any playing time with Steph there.
In regards to swaps- doubt that our picks will be better than Utah's within the next 5 years
In regards to Moody- Not like Kerr plays him consistently enough (only played 66 games and avg 17 mpg). Will make 5 mil cap space.
In regards to GP2- Been too injury prone, and inconsistent (played 44 games and 16mpg). Will make 9 mil in cap space.
In regards to Kuminga- May have a higher ceiling, and is younger (21), but in the time we have left with Steph's prime we get a big man that can space the floor, a better PnR threat for Steph, better facilitation of ball movement, and get more rebounds.

I swear Kuminga fans don’t watch basketball and probably see his summer videos where he is not being guarded nor show any misses…. Kuminga might be an all star some day but he isn’t that today vs Lauri who we know can shoot 40% from 3 as a big and rebounds , JK was 32% from 3, can’t really dribble, can’t create his own shot and we are talking as if he some super star, he has not shown any of that .

GP2 has been hurt a lot, Kuminga has been ok but hasn’t had enough minutes, same with Moody. Plus give them picks that might turn in to players?
