wow this movie should be SEEN by all who think parents owe their children more than what they can't . Parents need to also know that their children should not been spoiled and especially when they are UNGRATEFUL like these kids. So many are out there .

Too bad things like this don't happen in the real world, to folks who have tragedy after tragedy, some of us have lost everything several times due to the evil people in this world, but it is nice to dream of real miracles.

Who cares. So called "Christmas" trees are pagan anyway. If you want to remember Christ with mass on a special day, display a Nativity scene. Jesus was born in a stable in the middle of the desert in Israel/Judea not in a winter wonderland where there are fir trees.

This is truly a lovely and beautiful story and the little actress is the center of it. She’s wonderful and full of the spirit of life!!

But, someone said how wonderful “The Simple Life” is. Here are my thoughts on that lovely fictional story, cause that’s what this is.
Sorry, but the simple life? Umm, this guy had loads of money!!! You’ve got to be kidding. Ask any real farmer, if it’s the simple life. This is a lovely sentiment, but it’s a pipe dream, a fairy tale. I have a very simple life right now, as do many older people on Social Security - it’s not sitting around looking at the sunset, especially in a city. There are many people and families with hardly any money, who are definitely not able to lead “the simple life”.

Have a great one, everybody and enjoy what you do have as much as you can - it’s worth every minute 🌲🌺🕯️✨

My family has a Blueberry farm in Belmont, OH. Love this was filmed there.

I always believe in the meaning of why the first choice of college degrees, universities, and jobs may end up saying that it was what you needed the entire time. This is a good movie to have parents mentor their adolescent sons and daughters about how life can show you why it is important to not cherish materialistic values because once you die, you take nothing with you.

There was a blooper in this movie. The senator blurted out to Mr. George that he was trying the underhandedly take the farm from the owner. Then, before he opened the barn door, he told the boss of the company that Mr. George only owned the property for 20 minutes. I get it about the simple life. But the dad was messing-up left and right. He was the one who got his family believing they could have anything they wanted just because that's the way he wanted to live. He was a selfish man. Otherwise, it was a good movie.

What a beautiful movie! God is so wonderful, with a beautiful heart. Praise the LORD, trust GOD, He will see you through. God is love.

Cried a lot, every time I’ve watched this, with mostly happy tears, as I could relate to this life. I LOVE TREES! ❤❤❤

This is a great example for the entitled, to be humbled to the fact that, we are only a job/paycheck loss, accident, death or disaster away from being homeless. Look around you, and be thankful if you are not also addicted to alcohol/drugs or other mental or physical gifts and know that these times will pass, just do you best and appreciate what you do have.

The beautiful song was part of Dvorak's "New World Symphony". One of my favorites. It took a Czeck to give us real Americana. It can't be lost or sold. Right now, it's bruised but I have to believe we will get it back. It's too precious to lose!❤❤❤
