How to UNLOCK the Mack Defense M917 in SNOWRUNNER (Season 10: Fix & Connect)

So even if i bought the DLC map and come with those 2 trucks ,i can't have them until i have done those task?

I just unlocked all watchtowers and tasks on Duncan Bay now I’m overwhelmed and don’t know where to start lol. There’s so many tasks and busted routes it’s crazy

"Underperforms" "underpowered" "broken" "useless hitbox" So much negativity towards this truck. If you can't make it work, the problem is behind the wheel. Having a blast in Amur with this truck and have no issues with performance.

I know I am 3 days late but there is a UFO on the Phase 10 map North Peak National Park. The UFO is near the the Watchtower closest to the upgraded for the Mack Defense and the task Road Artery.

I tested Mack Defense and it's very weak in my opinion. I test with load and trailer. It handles very poorly uphill and in light mud. The time it achieved was at the level of the GMC MH9500/Freightliner 114SD. In addition, it burns huge amounts of fuel (and this supposedly economical engine burns even more in practice). Only the 5600TS burned more on this test track. In my opinion, it lacks an advanced special gearbox. It should help him a lot.

The Mack Defense is really good even when you first get it with what it comes with, but it could use a mod to slightly improve it. I am hoping someone makes a console(PS5) mod like MrBusses to improve it.

The Mack is is pretty disappointing when it comes to mud. It perfoms so poorly in mud that you it has next to no use on snowy and swampy maps.

Kenworth is good for selling it. The 917 is ok but underpowered many other trucks loads better. Great vid though.

Recently purchased Year 3 DLC. 11 watchtowers unlocked.

Honestly I'm a bit disappointed by both new trucks. The Kenworth I used exactly for 2 tasks and now it can go and collect rust in the garage. Extremely underpowered, even with the biggest engine. Many other trucks are better at every task than this truck.
The Mack Defense is okay-ish... but it definitely needs a better raised suspension and bigger tires. Why should I use this truck when even base game trucks are just better and have balloon tires...

Better they add new DLC for Dakar, not adding speedometer but boring trucks to Snowrunner is not making me happy.

Love the dlc tasks but not gonna lie the 2 new trucks have been kind of disappointing for me. They feel under powered compared to previous trucks and the kenworth I was super excited for cause of the 3 slot bed and loading crane

I did NOT do this task the easiest way possible. lol

But I don't always care about doing things the quickest way anyway, it's all about having a good time and just enjoying the ride.

Pretty sure I pulled up the map marked a line straight to the drop off site and decided "ya know, Im'ma just tow the Mack straight there."

Lead to fun times. lol

It needs more power, a truly raised suspension and larger tires.
It underperforms.

I have found them a nice balance against the other small ones. I also feel the water effects have been tweaked a bit, they just seem more polished. And watery. Loving it!
