I don't see any bananas, and that's because bananas have been sanctioned, the price has doubled in a year. Russia can't pay in dollars any more
Ответитьthere is no shoppers,typical there
ОтветитьAre the prices high or are they reasonable. A lot of the prices in Oregon USA are really high. Your is pretty much like our, some store don't have all the shelves full. Walmart usually is pretty good. Ok egg not so much, expensive too.
ОтветитьI am on Team Russell 100%!! I only see the sauce next to or at least in the same asile as the pasta itself where I live in New Jersey in the US. I am not going to walk around looking for it or asking where it is. I would just assume they don`t have any in stock if it was not near the pasta itself. I have only seen in completly seperated from the pasta at one chain, Trader Joe`s which I thought was odd. Sometimes you see high end sauce in their own displays but almost in all cases it is next to the pasta. Some stores sell "homemade" pasta in plastic containers in a cooler but they are much more expensive and are next to refrigerated pasta anyway.
ОтветитьVery Nice video-6 years since I was in the Country and it seems even more modern now than then..
I'm Polish and I'm wondering about one thing - namely, where is the alleged crisis in Russia that so much is written about in the German press or by Ukrainian journalists? Instead, I see well-stocked stores. Maybe I'm blind, but everything is there
ОтветитьRussell,
Thank you!❤. People do not understand how good we have it here in the motherland. 🇷🇺❤️ President Putin has taken great care of the motherland from the days where the Americans and British tried taking away our sovereignty. Inflation is low, unemployment is low, food and energy prices are low, housing is cheap, it’s a great day to live in 🇷🇺
Russel, interesting to know what your job is in Russia. A good Australian in Russia.
ОтветитьThe first difference I noticed between your store and mine; mine doesn't have snow piled up in the parking lot. Your shopping carts are smaller but so is your store. You think the variety in your produce section is rather large, but my store has a produce section as big as your whole store. Russia has nothing that compares to the good old USA. You can be impressed if you want but all I can say is that you haven't seen anything that compares to my home town's typical supermarket.
ОтветитьNo way to candle eggs in Southern USA. They would not care or take the time. Eggs also sell really fast.
ОтветитьThis would be a rough equivalent to an ALDI grocery (quality smaller stores, for sure) here in the US, but it's much smaller than simply the grocery section of a Walmart Supercenter, a Meijer grocery, or a Kroger, for example. Although this appears to be a lovely store, it would probably take 6 to10 this size to equal the equivalent amount of goods in one typical Walmart grocery.
ОтветитьI have never been to Russia 🇷🇺 before and this tour of a typical local grocery store was very welcome. Thank you for your very well done video. 👏 As for the pricing of products - well everything there is much cheaper than here in Florida, thats for sure, but then its really tough to judge, really. A typical loaf of bread 🍞, equal to those fresh loaves is about 4 or 5 dollars at our local Publix supermarket. Its a very nice looking store there, if smaller, really well organized, neat and tidy for sure...CLEAN. Also, not nearly as crouded as our markets usually are. Thanks again for the look around. A very nice video, indeed 👍 👌 👏.
P. S. Regarding the placement of pasta and sauces for same. Ours are in the same isles here, usually, pastas on one end and sauces on the othere end but I wouldn't mind if that weren't the case. 🤷
It’s much different than a Soviet supermarket. It contains food.
ОтветитьI am amazed at the variety but the store is tiny compared to my HEB in Houston, TX, USA, which is 78,000 sq. ft. Your store would compare to stores in towns of 5,000 or less. The baked in the store bread looks wonderful. Texas is one of the states that does not allow liquor to be sold in grocery stores.
To give you an idea, the chips aisle in the HEB is floor to head high on both sides for 30 feet, there is an on site butcher shop where they grind hamburger, cut steaks and chops. There is also a deli which will slice cheese and processed meats like salami. It is understandable that there are very few brands I recognize.
Very interesting USA
ОтветитьThat was fun. Very interesting how many snicker candy bars and lay potato chips there were!!
I enjoyed it. Hello from Tennessee USA!!
The fruit and veggie markets is called Prevos. Sorry don’t know the Russin spelling.
ОтветитьMuch nicer than scotlands typical corner shop or asda....cheaper too.
ОтветитьFunny how you can walk around a supermarket in Russia and film without any problems, in England you'd of been stopped and challenged by security and then arrested by police within 5 minutes.
ОтветитьI have never seen a supermarket with so few customers.
ОтветитьLooks like American food stores . Prices are less than a store in the USA
ОтветитьWow, we’ve got fruit and vegetables and we’ve got chocolate. Will talk to you. Got Tins to meet frozen food we’ve got bigger supermarkets than this one you’re looking at we’ve got three great big ones three times bigger is that thank you for showing us round. Interesting but we’ve got the sort of things. Thank you
ОтветитьBut I can see it’s no different from the supermarket. We bought fridges and shells all the way down and food and then does the same as you’re so what’s best about that. Sorry I don’t mean to be rude no it’s about it it’s true that we probably don’t even lie or to eat, or it’s very fattening, I bet it’s got all the reds on the food web for danger love but wait on you eaten that crap don’t look healthy yet alright healthier food what do you like?
ОтветитьI don’t want to know about their supermarkets I’ve got supermarket yourself and they’ve got something we ain’t got. I don’t think many people be interested in this in Russia
Ответитьthe chocolate bars are 3 times BIGGER than in the UK and cheaper 😂
ОтветитьJust wondering why are buggies so small do people there not buy much food at one time? Like a weeks worth or do they go more often a week ? Very neat to watch your videos.
ОтветитьРассел-ты красавчик! Спасибо тебе, что показываешь людям которые живут на западе какая на самом деле Россия! Удачи тебе и успехов!
ОтветитьIn Russia it's the same like in each poor country. You have a lot of small grocery stores, where people is buying the most nessesary food in small quantities. The most of russian can't afford to spend at once 100 € for food like in the EU or US. The another reason is lack of cars to go to a large shopping mall.
ОтветитьWow! No joke, I’d have to push 5-6 of those small carts around the store to get everything needed……now that sucks!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьI looked but I don’t see the fires.
Ответитьthere's a bar in my local store in florida usa
ОтветитьПавел Андреич, Вы шпион?..😮
ОтветитьNot really good supermarket compare to europe supermarkets…
ОтветитьThe store is about the size of a convenience store here (US), like a 7-Eleven. As a grocery store, it is quite small.
ОтветитьYou have a wonderful supermarket. Here in America the prices are 3 times higher than where you are. I need to move to Russia!
ОтветитьI’ve heard rumors about beer being cheaper than soda in some countries but I figured those days were long gone. Also it’s wild not seeing any Coca Cola!
ОтветитьPrice's are pretty good compare to America!
Ответитья вообще перестал ходить по магазинам) доставка хороших товаров за 15мин курьером по всей Стране😅 Приезжайте к нам мы не злые😉
ОтветитьIt look nice, clean and orderly!
ОтветитьGreat video as always! What a really nice store, one of the cleanest and neatest I've ever seen and the prices are really really good too. I shop at Walmart, a one stop shop! Oh yeah enjoyed looking at the snow too! I live in Tampa Florida no snow here. Also I'M TEAM RUSSELL! 😊
ОтветитьNew to the channel....love it my friend! So informative
ОтветитьThat's a nice first world supermarket..
ОтветитьGee the propaganda says stores like this are few and far between in Russia, and always have empty shelves . Very informative video bub . thumbs up
ОтветитьThis would be a convenience store in the US
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. Looks good😊
ОтветитьYes we can buy Parmalat milk in upstate New York. Same package also.
ОтветитьLoving this tour of a Russian grocery store thanks for doing this I really enjoyed learning something new
ОтветитьNot many types of vegetables though.
