Miss them last time they were in Seattle got tickets already can't wait
ОтветитьFan-tas-tic!
ОтветитьAnd people in the elevator wonder why I'm grooving so much
ОтветитьWow! Mr. Philips on transparent drums (fiberglass?)! Just like Mr. Cobham in the 1970's! And they still look and sound great! Simon Philips and Billy Cobham are still amongst my favorite drummers! ✌️🤠🌀🙏
Ответитьtu sabe que o cara é brabo quando o kiko freitas é o tecladista dele ksksksksks briks...
ОтветитьAlex Sill has improved his style exponentially, much appreciated. Great band.
ОтветитьThe sound is thin. Great band though.
ОтветитьI was at this show . So happy to discover this video , so I can relive the experience in the comfort of my home . Brilliant players .
ОтветитьVery cool stuff! Simon composes such cool music, not to mention he is such an amazing drummer.
ОтветитьMan muss ihn einfach lieben, den Simon. Was für ein grandioses Gesamtkunstwerk!
ОтветитьMmh ... Sicherlich schwierig zu spielen, aber irgendwie immer gleich und auch langweilig. Pardon ... Möchte niemanden auf die Füße treten. 😢
ОтветитьThe guitar player forgot the headstock at home! 😮
ОтветитьThis band is so tight... The Simon's touch, I guess. Always loved his way on playing drums, so melodic.
ОтветитьNo, put Greg Howe back in. No headless guitars!!!👎🏼👎🏼
ОтветитьSaw the show in Verviers. I prefered the Protocoll Band with Andy Timmons .... a betters selection of notes to play, a much better tone ... Sill is once more a talented guitarist who can play whatever he wants to play in high gain mode, fast as lightning .... but .... I regret to say ... touched me not a lousy moment ....
ОтветитьExcellent band. Sometimes a pity that there are no lead vocals implemented in this style of music. Seldom occurs… is anyone familiar with a combination of singers with this style of music ?
ОтветитьThose Toms sound reminds me of Gn'R use your illusions drum mix . I think is the same drum signature Sorum used back then
ОтветитьIn these times we take the bad with the good. Watching this on a pretty big monitor wearing headphones is quite good.
ОтветитьEvery drumset that Simon touches always sounds BEAUTIFUL. My favourite living drummer/composer
ОтветитьWhat a band. These guys really COOK.
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьWe’re is the Bass!
ОтветитьI love this band. Thank you.
ОтветитьSimon Philips the best drummer 🎧👌🏿
ОтветитьGuitar is too loud and bass too low in the sound mix
ОтветитьIf I had to pick and all time favorite drummer, it would have to be Simon. He and Jeff Porcaro are the two most melodic, musical drummers I have ever heard (and that includes most of the 'greats'). It is not surprising that Simon became Toto's drummer after Jeff's death. Simon's kit is always tuned to perfection, and that really adds to his amazing technical skills set. He has just gotten better with age. I hope he's around for many more years.
ОтветитьIn my book{ the greatest drummer of all time, AND the greatest Rock Fusion composer too!!!
Ответить👍
ОтветитьSimon's t-shirt...truth.
ОтветитьLets review....its live, the entire band is KILLING IT, sound it perfect! Thank you for posting this gift! Peace from Detroit MI.
ОтветитьIs funky buscuit the new name for Backed Potato in LA?
Ответить🤙🏾
ОтветитьIt's great to see all of Simon's bass drum hits because of the clear heads. Fantastic performance from the entire band.
ОтветитьTry using ear buds.
Ответитьa mix is really good when I'm blown away by small stuff like the snare sound, through stupid laptop speakers (off a phone?).
ОтветитьLove u guys what a clean fantastic show and experience.. Bass needs to go up a little. Where can I see such shows live ? I am from India but can book many gigs and travel to see..
ОтветитьCool show, but coulda used about 6 more db on keys and about 10 more on little bastard lol
ОтветитьAMAZING
ОтветитьMe: "Oh for goodness sake, what's that old guy gonna do on that massive drum kit? 🙄"
End of the first track: 😮
What extraordinary musicians! I never get tired of listening to them! Will Protocol VI be released?
ОтветитьHmmm… I listened to sooo much of this generic fusion stuff in 70’s, and loved it, but … has it really developed?
ОтветитьFantastic concert from a great band of world classic musicians led by one of the greatest drummers on the planet
ОтветитьWOW really cool music,i love fusion, this music is a homerun for me! :)
Thanks a lot for this epic cool music!:)
The audio quality is great, like really good, great dynamics, and the video quality is great too with good angles and a nice mix between them.:)
10/10 from me,thanks again for this! :)
I love the show they've put up her3, all great and stellar performance, the guitar is a bit underrepresented to my soundguy ears while the sax is a weebit over but th3n thats all within "sounds very good" just minor details.
The music and musicianship stands out far, all of those musicians know how to run the show and had devoted their lifes to their music and i dare to say you can hear it.
Especially love Simons playing in conjunction with the bassplayer, when the keyboarder plays thrills simon answers them on a ride and so on and so on.
They all listen to eachother and back eachother up in many ways, was a fun night for the musicians involved, i know that from watching it. Pity i missed out on this evening.
Vamos Otmarooooo
ОтветитьBravi!
