I have the Zoo Med "Creature" kit/enclosure and it seems great. Definitely big for my Tliltocatl Verdezi right now but he is my first and I wanted something he could grow into. Why don't you like them?

for the bioactive substrate, do you NEED to add springtails? i got rolydirt with my first t and was wondering if i have to or not

Give them an honest review yeah uh huh. Just remember don't say anything bad during the "honest review" or these companies try to sue you XD IT happened to Northernexotics and he never even posted the review video.

I just went to the website 01/18/24 they do not have any shock boxes available at this. I tried to contact theim for more information but I never got a reply back from customer service.. don't know if I'll shop with them if I'm already having problems with communication...

And also my 6-7inches Female A.Geniculata for 500php or 10$
But it was 2.5-3 inches when i bought it last 2021 here in philippines

I ordered some from Amazon they’re tiny and they have one little screen hall on the top and I have one with a little screen holes on the side. Is that OK?

My first tarantula is gonna be a curly hair

I used to keep bunnies, I made a large enough and divided it into 4 spaces and each space was 10 foot by 10 foot and had 1 bunny in each and put wire on the ground and had dirt and hay to dig in. I wanted them to have a natural type environment. Another bunny breeder asked me why I gave them so much room like it was a bad thing. It made me feel bad like I did something wrong. Later I realized how much happier they actually were. They would run around, dig , run up to me when I would come into the enclosures and I even later learned that you can give them same sex friend, you have to introduce them correctly but they would cuddle together , eat together and seemed to enjoy having company after many others saying bunny are solitary animals and would fight to injury or death together. In the wild they stay in groups. It’s a matter of introducing correctly and realizing some bunnies may never get along but others will be best friends just like dogs,cats and humans. My point is do your own research and do what you think is best like you said. If I ever get bunnies again, colony will be the way to go again.

The zoomed enclosures are great if you replace the mesh top, plus the price is good for people on a budget that can't afford the new fad of acrylic setups. Those spiders are bigger than I thought they would be 😂 awesome

That was awesome! What a dream come true that would be! Also, I am expecting some mailed tarantulas, and this is my first time. I feel a bit scared although my spiders are much smaller but oh my goodness. I’m a bit nervous and super excited!

Aww this made me miss my pink toe. Mine matured at the beginning of the year and passed away last month. Such a fun species.

i'm about 20 years removed from the hobby... The prices i'm seeing here are astronomical. Those were mostly $20 spiders when I was last in the hobby -- none of these were rare or particularly saught after, except Avic Avics, which are basically arboreal chilean rose.

Looks like you paid $1,000 for about $200 worth of spiders. Inflation is a bitch.

EDIT: Not to say they aren't beautiful and healthy spiders. And of course the big girls wouldn't have been $20 even 'back in the day' :)

Just got my $150 shock box! Wish i spent a little more knowing they send way more than the box is worth. Loved the experience great Customer service fast shipping great packaging all around satisfied I was gunna post what I got but you guys have to find out for yourself lol
