I don't have Instagram, and I'm satisfied with the way I look, and I see many girls as beautiful, where other people tell me that dude! they arent.

I find this weirdly specific, if it's a matter of "unreal body image", aren't there pictures of unbelievably fit, ripped men and guys on there too? So shouldn't normal guy teens also be affected? Why is it happening to only girl teens? Are we saying guys are more self confident and have a certain mental strength that let's them see those pictures of super fit guys and not get depressed or commit suicide?? Or is that they do get depressed and commit suicide but we only wanna report the girls? Why is this story gender specific?

IG can be positive and negative. What Zuckerberg said isn't false, I'm sure data does show it does have positive effects when it comes to peer-to-peer connections. But also, the data shows the negatives as well as stated. I guarentee you there is some racial biases in the data, but you'll never see it because that's a can of worms.

IG is the equivalent of magazines back in the 90s. Girls would see the models and stuff and magazines and want to be them. Internet just makes it more accessible.

Regarding the cops… people DO make posts with videos and pictures of their crimes on social media platforms. They’ll brag about it. There’s been more than a few crimes where social media information is part of the case.
