It’s not healthy for the babies that are born too close together either. My mom threw up nearly every day she was pregnant with me, nearly miscarried, and I was over a month premature. I couldn’t keep formula down and had to stay in the hospital a week or two before she could bring me home, then she had to measure how much I threw up each feeding to know how much more formula to give me. My fingers looked like bird claws, I think I weighed about 5 pounds. Babies don’t get enough nutrients from their depleted, run down mothers and end up weak, premature, and sickly; and I was born 15 months after my brother. Less than 12 months- I can’t even imagine!
