Thanks for watching! What's your favorite (or least favorite) blocking techniques used in our video? Let us know!
Ответитьthis is bullshit im sorry for that
ОтветитьBecause Ukhano suggest me this one🫡❤
ОтветитьI can't believe I know this, but here ya go: the Italian for Happy Trails is Felice Camini.
Ответитьextremely informative, and not just for film, this can apply to photography (duh) and illustration
ОтветитьAmazing explanation of such important aspect of cinematic expression. Thank you very much!
ОтветитьThanks a lot!
ОтветитьLose the annoying, overused, pointless thumping "music" when you are doing a teaching video!
ОтветитьDon't movies like searching not boil down to 2 people having a conversation.
Ответитьdude who made the video: -shapes are made by lines!
me: -oooh
Epic
Ответитьbest online fim school!!
ОтветитьVery useful explanation of what Blocking is, thanks for this!
ОтветитьThat just open my mind
ОтветитьSo blocking in movie industry and in animation has completely different meaning.
ОтветитьIt's funny but the main reason I don't watch lots of movies or hit the fast forward button is because 2 people are talking. Just sitting there talking. I call it "Fluff time" or "filler". That's when the people writing the film run out of ideas and they call Jeff and say "Hey Jeff I need 5 minutes of filler or fluff time. Just talk about your old girlfriend or dentist appointment or the time your hand got cut in the engine.
I look for "Action" or material related to action. You probably think yeah this guy don't know what he's talking about, but no one remembers the talking scenes in movie's just the ones that are about the action. Maybe you'll write your next video about blocking for action, the most important part of a movie. It all comes back to the director saying "Action" He's not screaming "Talking" or "Conversation"
Great Video reminded me of Confession Scene in Breaking Bad.... Contrast between what happening in the background and whats really going down at table creates so much weight and tension to that scene conversation
ОтветитьLove blocking, it's one of those things that doesn't require money, yet tells the audience you kinda know what the f you're doing.
Ответитьشكرا لكم
ОтветитьWhat is the difference between blocking and staging?
ОтветитьDoes the director give entire script to DP or just shot list?
ОтветитьLove your videos but this video completely ignores when and how blocking is done in the creative process. Blocking is often done during rehearsal by the actors. Then the DP and the director will find the shots according to the blocking. The highly staged blocking such as in Wes Anderson’s work is only reserved for the most auteur of filmmakers. Most directors will do their head in trying block every little detail for every single actor. And most actors will hate it.
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this lesson❤️🤞🏽
ОтветитьIs the Sony A7S III better than Panasonic EVA1? In terms of images rendered and dynamic range? (Sony is full frame and EVA1 is super35).
ОтветитьWhich movie in .56 sec?
Ответитьlmao did you just call William Dafoe a triangle?!
ОтветитьAmazing channel and content
ОтветитьThomas & friends is great at filmmaking in my opinion!
Ответитьlove u guys! thank u.
ОтветитьPerfect
ОтветитьOverinterpretation and speculation. This is why they charge you thousands of dollars in a Film Studies major.
ОтветитьIn the guardian's example, why do you think they're framed off centre, is it to look more natural? Like we're watching a moment occur. Does it make the foreground look less the focus as Groot is more centred than them?
ОтветитьSo proxemics is an element of this right?
ОтветитьI love it
Ответитьwhat'sa the first one
ОтветитьThis is an awesome channel, thanks
ОтветитьThere must be some other way to explain what’s going on here than with shapes? I find the idea a little silly.
