JUST A GREAT UNBIASED VIDEO . Thank you !
ОтветитьHickory Dickory Doc that’s guy is a true blue American 🇺🇸! I support him & his Chanel. The riffle hits hard then steel
ОтветитьIt costs more because it holds 1 more round. LOL
ОтветитьThe thing that makes sako 4 times the price is not just the material or the parts they use it’s also about how much they sell in the store I bet they sell 3 times more ruger Americans then sakos just because there’s not as many sakos a rugers
ОтветитьJust buy a .300 Weatherby Magnum. In Vanguard if you're on a budget or a Mark V if you can afford it. You'll have it for life then your son will, then your grandson will and it will be just like new.
You take any game animal in North America with it at over 1,400 yards!
When dealing with a company like Sako which is made in Finland and is a socialist country then you have to wonder are you paying for quality workmanship and parts or are you just paying more for their taxes and regulations
ОтветитьGet you a 65 reedmore.
ОтветитьHello, Thank you for your presentation I enjoyed just being able to pick up a gun and (mercy) have that kind of range :) It was a nice day dream right.. Me personaly if i'm working on a car or building a cabinet or hunting game or shooting match if I can afford it it is allways and I mean allways better to have really nice tools for me anyways. I appreciate good machinery. It is a kind of mindset that when a painting is hanging on the wall you can still see it if it is level or not. I would just prefer it to be level without defects. Thanks again and best regards, Tom
ОтветитьOne of the main differences that is not discussed is the long term value of the rifles. Which one will escalate in value versus the other? I would venture a guess that the Sako will do so.
ОтветитьYou have my dad's dry sense of humor I I enjoyed that 😊
ОтветитьOh yeah, a Finnish Rifle once again in the hands of Hickok45!
ОтветитьWhat ammo are you using for the ruger
ОтветитьMost budget rifles I’ve checked out feel barrel heavy and the bolt is clunky. Theoretically a rifle is something that will last, and get handed down. My choice is to go with what has the better action/shoot-ability and feels good. Personally I’m not a fan of synthetic stocks, maybe it’s old fashioned but walnut just looks and feels better. I’ve read a lot of mixed reviews on Savage and Ruger; but Tikka ( a Sakko brand) has an incredible amount of positive views and sits around $1000, depending on the model, and has one with a walnut stock. I’m still a believer in quality over quantity, I’ll by one rifle that will take deer, elk, moose, bear over having several different affordable ones. In the end it’s what makes you happy.
ОтветитьBeautiful rifle!
ОтветитьBoth rifles are huge wastage of money.
ОтветитьI "bench rest" test with every rifle. I try different ammo in the rifle to see which one groups the best. Which ever ammo groups best, that's the ammo I zero in the rifle with and use in that particular rifle. I know if I miss, it's me and not the rifle or ammo.
ОтветитьI have a CVA single shot 44 magnum that I killed deer with for under 400
ОтветитьBuy what you want people, as long as you are shooting.
Ответить98% of the time you can take any budget rifle and work up a hand load for it and get 1/2 groups. That’s been my experience. I get a nice rifle because I want it, not just because of inherent accuracy
Ответить🇵🇬🇵🇬, .,,.,
ОтветитьThe Finnish finish
This is why we subscribed
Dude.
You have too much fun.
ОтветитьWell, I'll be planting my garden a little differently this year...just sayin haha
ОтветитьThing I don't like is every rifle manufacturer assumes every shooter is 6'4".
ОтветитьI'm only 5ft 7in... maybe I'm too "short" for this channel. Sometimes you are just like fingernails on a chalkboard. For others I'm guessing you are music to their ears. It is rare that I can get through one of these without fast forwarding. Note; you can buy a CZ rifle for less than 2000 and it is probably a higher quality rifle.
ОтветитьI got a Remington 783 for 329 bucks with a scope. It has a fantastic trigger and very accurate
ОтветитьDeer hunting in Georgia you don’t need hair splitting accuracy when the average shot is 50 yards. The difference is more expensive rifles trigger and the bolt is smoother and long range shooting
ОтветитьI just purchased the ruger American great rifle for your $
ОтветитьMe and my mosin
Ответитьshoots the gong with ease lol
ОтветитьSako Finnish guality!
ОтветитьSure, a name or brand for the extra $$ is great however, the Weapon of choice being used is only limited to the Person’s knowledge, experience and ability.
I can pick up a $400 and $2k and still guide that lead 3-400 Meters (dot) with either.
Still a great skit to watch - a man or woman taking to a weapon and showing there is no such thing as a “bad gun.”
I almost expected it to behave badly, for some reason it acted the same dang way mine do. Put ‘em in a corner, tell them to stay… some reason it doesn’t move😂😂
Keep these Videos coming!
I never buy the "Cheapest" rifle, and I can never afford the most "EXSPENSIVE"!
So, it's the mid-price choices for me. And these sort of guns have been serving the majority of Americans for generations!
It's nice to own the very best! BUT, for most of us, it just isn't an option.
Sako is correctly pronounced just like a Taco 🌮… Hence, it’s not pronounced like the Swiss made watch Seiko — just saying! 😉
ОтветитьThe 400 dollar one is MORE accurate than the 2000 dollar one.
ОтветитьWhat about issue? Non-registered issued 😍
ОтветитьI believe the sako is a controlled feed action and the ruger is a push feed action. This is a detail many people overlook when purchasing a firearm. Personally I want all my rifles to be controlled feed actions. Also something to consider is the ability to top load the Sako and inability to top load the ruger.
Ответитьfor a hunting rifle 2000,- is really not a high price. The better security system costs.
ОтветитьMy family is Greenlandic so we love guns as it is a big part of our culture and way of life. And our family agrees that Sako is the right rifle company for us. Both me and my dad have a Mode 85, but I have a scope and a sling on mine. The model 85 is a fantastic and versitile rifle, its definitely way better than the Ruger, which is already a good rifle
ОтветитьSo… you can accurate fire both rifles? Is there anything else to be said.
Practice and use the armaments you have on hand.
If you practice all of then enough you’ll be grand.
This is really a close analogy to microphones. You can buy the fancy one, but if you can’t use it, well that don’t matter.
i like the furniture on the sako
Ответитьpoly degrades over time, in 20 years those mags won't feed at all, in 20 years 2,000 is worth 8,000
ОтветитьBlasts a watermelon into tiny bits, scattering seeds and flesh everywhere.
"That's a watermelon plant growing there, no idea how it got there"
I have an idea 🤔
The reason why it's 400$ is because you're a walking advertisement. It's like buying a tv for cheap because it has banner ads on the home screen lol.
ОтветитьWith rifle is for lion hunting
ОтветитьWith your analogy of class envy shooters I'll take the Seko over the Rugar just look how more beautiful the Seko is over the plastic well shooting cheaper Ruger! It's like comparing as you said a GEO Metro to a Rolls! I'll take the Rolls! Beautiful ❤️👍
ОтветитьKinda like Mr. Donut said: I'm Aussie, we have guns, though I'm no gun nut.
This makes me feel... not sure how to put it, appreciative of fine workmanship, wherever it is found.
I'd be happy to pop a roo with either, but the little things like action and feel make blasting some helpless critter feel better.
Watched all the way to the end, and I thank you, sir. Well played.
For actual hunting I don't think it's worth taking the Sako. The Ruger appears to function just as well and it will hurt less to take a $400 dollar rifle out on the field than a nice $2000 rifle.
