Reading your ebook. Fascinating.
ОтветитьWell, now we know who the best and most important part of the show was. And it wasn't Mike.
ОтветитьWould have took the money carried on ant is great though.
ОтветитьMike says you're "not a proper mechanic". Is that true?
ОтветитьI miss the 2000’s
ОтветитьAmericans wouldn’t get the concept of fixing a car back to how it was in a workshop, if you aren’t chopping the roof off or hot rodding it they wouldn’t get the point.
I can see why Ed was uncomfortable with the new direction, what’s the point of a car restoration show without the restoration element. I guess Mike needs some sympathy as well as he can’t be 100% happy with the situation but I guess it pays the bills so he has to go with the flow.
It was good while it lasted
'American' companies dont give a DAMN about the people, only their own pockets! All big coorporations are run by greedy people!!!
ОтветитьI grow up watching you fixing the cars , for me you are the best 🙏👏👏
ОтветитьNot watched a second of wheeler dealers since this fella left .
Ответитьfrom Italy greetings for all
ОтветитьI've always been perplexed by the widespread appeal of this show. The idea of buying and selling cars for a profit has been flawed from the outset, primarily because they've consistently overlooked the inclusion of labour costs. If they were to factor in labour, their profit margins would likely vanish. Additionally, a significant portion of their efforts seems to focus on surface-level improvements rather than addressing fundamental reliability issues. In fact, many of the cars don't even receive a basic standard service.
ОтветитьEdd you are truly a gentleman.
ОтветитьI miss you Ed
ОтветитьAs an American I can honestly say, the suits ruined it. It was so much better before.
ОтветитьGrazie Edd di tutto quello che hai fatto SEI GRANDE.
ОтветитьMy issue with WheelerDealers is the metric-imperial mishmash; then throw in USCS. As example, centigrade-fahrenheit, millimeters-fractions of an inch, litres-pints, cubic centimeters-cubic inches ... In fact, its absolutely typical of mishmash UK, the country that just can't get its act together when it comes to consistency of measurement terms. Prosecuting that greengrocer for selling his vegetables in pounds and ounces, while forcing me to convert the speedometers of grey imports to miles per hour (mi/hr). So when are you going to complete that switch to metric measurement terms, HMG? A country only needs one accurate measurement system, not two: Especially two incompatible systems. So when you do fly the coop Britisher pals (go on, you know you're going to) getting up to speed with the metric system will be a large part of your steep learning curve.

6 years later still watching it and enjoying it. Lasted longer than the Beatles... nothing lasts forever. 😎
ОтветитьHow do I miss all this 😢 6 yrs later i only know now and not surprised for the love of money and even more sad we dont have access in south africa to watch full episodes. WD will become an awesome memory like the max power car magazines that used to be on sale here and they just imported a p100 ford Cortina bukkie from my country 🇿🇦😪. All the best EDD your work would have definitely been wack and cut apart if you didnt leave
ОтветитьIt was best with Edd. I watched it despite finding Mike B irksome. Mike B’s habit of having to do bits of the work was almost childish. Edd’s replacement is like Tigger on amphetamines. Leaves you feeling exhausted not relaxed and informed. Rarely watch nowadays.
ОтветитьMost of us grew up watching you
ОтветитьGood luck Ed. I know exactly what you mean. Today's show they basically skim over the restoration and most of the time talking about were there going to take the car for a test drive. Very boring. I'd rather see the nuts and bolts of the show. Figures an American media entity ruining something good. Content be damned, today's media.
ОтветитьFight the power!!
ОтветитьClassy as always ed
ОтветитьYou’re a decent, an upright and honest bloke. You’ve showed that sticking to someone’s principles does pay off most of the time…
ОтветитьBest part of the show was Edd going into detail on the work being done. The new series is shite...
ОтветитьHi edd my man I hope and pray that you get your own show, you were the star in wheeler dealers
ОтветитьIt all went wrong when discovery took over. Attaboy days were the best days
ОтветитьThe new show it's so annoying. Mike says something to the seller, says it again to us and repeats it again to the mechanic. And they also speak so redundantly, they literally say "this is the only part left to start the engine so when i turn the key the car will start"
ОтветитьI really thought this was a niche show only I knew about. How wrong and good I was wrong. Glad you are doing well. take care.
ОтветитьGood luck edd I don't blame you
ОтветитьGrazie Edd per tutto quello che ci hai trasmesso per me sei stato l unico chi ti ha sostituito si è sporcato poco le mani.......
ОтветитьEdd, this is 6 years on, I only ever enjoyed the series with you in it, i tried the other guys but you were the only real one I could believe. Once i saw the vid of chubby Mike bad mouthing you in that car show I watch it no more. I hope you have now moved on to better pastures. Your are / were the star not tubby Mike.
ОтветитьGood on you edd wishing you the best of luck in your new adventure 😁👍
ОтветитьOh dear .😳
ОтветитьI only watch the ones with EDD in.
ОтветитьWell done Professional Integrity does matter, Never compromise on the quality of your work, I have watched the show for years and enjoyed it immensely, Velocity and their cheapo production will not be on my watch list in the future.
ОтветитьUnfortunately the craftsman is always the first to go the show will go on what ever it is after all Mike's show
Ответитьあなたの出ていた時期の番組は、今見てもとても楽しい。ありがとう。
ОтветитьIt’s a bit like mad max, the first two were Aussie and then the USA BS came into it, can only screw something so far, I now understand why Seinfeld pulled the show about nothing. Good luck Ed, stick by your morals, educating others is giving back. The next guy filling your gig is pretty good fella. When he gets used up, maybe join forces with ant, ✅
ОтветитьGreat machanic.. but ELVIS has replaced him. who is Much more talented..👌
Ответитьwent off it when it went to the USA, good luck edd used some of your fix's myself. cheers rodders
ОтветитьAbsolutely spot on..the repair/ rebuilding workshop scenes were the reason we enjoyed it !!.it encouraged me to have a go at things i thought too complicated...Edd, you ARE wheeler dealers
ОтветитьI love Wheeler Dealers, Edd always came across as the most genuine of the two presenters. Its a shame he's left. Ant seems a nice guy, but he's not Edd.
ОтветитьI haven’t watched wheeler dealers ever since.
Edd where ya bin? Mike I’m back! Back from where? Back from the future 😂😂
Best thing for edd to do.mike doesn't. Appreciate his efforts and does little for the program.
ОтветитьI love to follow it all time take care from 🇳🇱Discovery NL Greetings
ОтветитьEd, you are an amazing and extremely competent tradesman. I very much appreciate your efforts. Very entertaining and educational.
ОтветитьThe workshop jobs and reviving the cars was the core of the show. It's not been the same since you left. All the best fella.
ОтветитьSold, trying to earn more by saving money, losing one of the main characters. Well done.
ОтветитьSeni seviyorum
