Small Abstract Mixed Media Collage Art: Scraps, Acrylics, Caran d' ache, Oil Pastels

Hi All!

I am really enjoying these grungy mixed media small abstract collage art pieces. This one is a bit darker and grungier than usual, but it gave me the opportunity to add white markings that really show up!

MATERIALS:
CANVAS: 6" x 6" paper canvas (cut from a 9" x 6" sheet of Artist's Loft 140lb watercolor paper)
ACRYLICS: FolkArt Silver Marlin, Anita's white (cut with FloAid in a small precision bottle)
CRAYONS / PASTELS: Cray Pas Oil pastel sticks (gold, olive green); Caran d'ache crayons (gold, bright olive green, gray)
INK: DIY dark brown alcohol ink (2 parts alcohol, 1 part burnt umber brown acrylic (touch of black acrylic) 1 part glycerin; DIY black alcohol ink; black India ink.
PASTES: Lightweight Joint Compound; DIY black gesso using mostly equal parts of All Purpose Joint Compound and black acrylic paint (result: very dark gray)
COLLAGE: bits and pieces of old project scraps on watercolor and copy papers
TOOLS: small trowel, acetate, plastic card, wooden paint stick
