Can it really be a separated timeline if it happens in the future? I think that follout is just the stuff to happen.. fallout 3 predicted covid 19. But has been a lot of stuff that have made predictions that eventually did come true... And we still are kind of technically living in fear of communism. With the Russian Ukraine war going on. Everything is as political as and corrupt as ever... China on the verge of going at it with Tiwan. Many different things you could say Fallout is not unlike our own. In many ways it's the same. I just think that it's a franchise that predicts the future.

Revisiting this and it makes a lot of sense with actual history in the making right now. Ukraine war, middle-east, America destroying itself etc etc.

Someone could truly make an excellent anthology series from this... Every episode in the same world but telling a different story.

They could go the mini series route and have 90 minute episodes so each one is its own individual story. Just each explaining a different central plot within the lore. For example, there could be multiple episodes alone focusing on the various experiments done inside vaults.

You know Canada is already part of the USA, they just don't know it yet. They should willingly and peacefully rejoin the USA, that's easier than a full US military liberation of the land Canada stole from the USA. We need to take back the land that was stolen from the USA. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

There is one difference between Fallout and the Real World that is never touched on: Innovations in drilling and processing oil and LNG (Liquified Natural Gas), such as the oil sands of Alberta, and fracking -- not to mention the exploration of Siberia, as well as the destruction of oil wells in Iraq during Gulf War I and II, and most importantly, the development of carbon-capture technology, which basically allows for synthesizing things like gasoline, kerosene, and diesel fuels (though algae conversion of trash to diesel is much better than carbon-capture technology).

All of these things would have extended the oil economy of the world by at least 200 years, especially considering that in 2022, the US giving up exporting oil and LNG is why Putin was able to invade Ukraine (on my birthday, of all days...sheesh).

Just saying, oil wouldn't have become as scarce as it does in the Fallout timeline -- thus, a lot of things that take place would have been pushed back centuries.

Fun fact: the reason why china stood such a chance against power armor and military robots (Besides their OP stealth armor) was because they used EMPs. Soldiers in power armor were cooked as their armor short circuits and all war robots were just killed.

In Fallout I just kill anyone on sight with my sniper rifle and take their supplies, using fat mans to ambush safe zones. I survived longer doing that, it kinda sucks because it worked
