It’s missing the random beeping from some machine you can’t find, or the grinding sound of a failing cooling fan.

I am in a server room all day with ear protection. If I take off the ear protection I'll be sleeping like a drunk driver behind the wheel. Seriously always happens...not the drunk driving.

This is very relaxing sound. This is great for napping and zoning out.

take this sound, add a bunch of whiny fans and clicking hard drives, and you have the sounds of a real data center

Just like the IDF rooms I have at my work (with a slightly higher pitch though). I love the sound of them.
