i bought a 5boro board from ambler skate shop, it is sick

I had one of there bords it snapped the first day they fucking suck

I used to skate with Tato Feliciano way back in the late 90's when I was a skate rat in Hartford, CT. I have nothing but respect for 5Boro, and the standards they hold. I only knew Tato as a dude that would show up to a local late night curb session with my crew once in a while, but he was always a nice guy and welcome to shred. I was also a regular at 12Fingers skateshop, and 5boro was one of the best quality brands in the shop. It was a relatively local company, had good board shapes made at Chapman, great wood, the team was always destroying a local spot, so what's not to like? I rode 5Boro boards for a solid ten years until I moved to Colorado. I bought a house board from 303 shop about a month after I moved, after I checked out the local shops and decided that 303 was really making it happen in Denver. Support your local scene.

i bought one of their boards that was sitting on a zumiez shelf for probably half a year and it’s getting destroyed. hopefully this brand makes quality product and it’s just an aging mistake cuz i back this super hard

Just got a 5boro board for my bday, I’ve been just starting to learn on a $15 board and my dad pimps out this board spends $196 on it and it’s an 8.5 and I was playing around with a 7.75 (don’t get me wrong it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever owned) but damn it’s hard to get this big gorgeous board off the ground since it’s so heavy :/ Anyone have any tips?? PS I’m terrible at all of it but it’s so much fun to ride around and attempt ollies and shove it’s :)
