To help the whole Planet Zoo community I think its great to have all zoos available for a zoo tour via Google maps under 1 comment ❤️ So feel free to share the name of a zoo you know has the ability to "walk around" in Google Maps here 😃
Thanks for watching all ❤️
Use Air BnB for building design ideas.
ОтветитьFunnily enough, I found some really easy inspiration from playing the original Zoo Tycoon! Started off with a Tropical animals area and it really helped me generate some ideas for Planet Zoo, I am currently "recreating" the first habitat I made which is Bengal Tigers! I decided to sink the habitat into the ground slightly and i have made an underground viewing gallery where guests can look in on the tigers sleeping in the cave i built underneath the overground viewing path!
ОтветитьHello, I only discover your video now and it's really great. I don't know if anyone has already suggested it but Prague ZOO is available ob Google maps. If you are going to view it, take enough time, Prague ZOO is pretty large. :)
ОтветитьYOU are my inspiration DeLadysigner <3
ОтветитьBedankt ben er ook net achter gekomen dat je Nederlands bent
ОтветитьGreat video, came for inspiration and found it :)
ОтветитьI have a lot of trouble not with habitats themselves but with finding a general theme for the zoo and what kinds of buildings and layouts I want
ОтветитьWhat computer or equipment do you use to play Planet Zoo?
ОтветитьYou are so amazing. Did you know that you got a record for one of the best planet zoo builders
ОтветитьZurich zoo has a bit of google maps to it xD
ОтветитьThank you for the inspiration, I'm going to google zoo master plans today! And I just realized I need to go search in my attic for my notes and reader from a course on habitat design I took while studying 10+ years ago, totally forgot about that! I hope Planet Zoo will add the Azian wild dog, my project group actually developed an idea for a habitat for them, would be fun to recreate it in the game 😆
ОтветитьWhen I'm looking for inspiration for making a more natural exhibit, I like to use the Habitats of the World book to get a nice overview of different natural habitats! If I want to make a habitat for a specific animal, I'll match up the habitat map on the Zoopedia with the maps in the book and choose a habitat type from those to base my build off of.
ОтветитьMy tip is to see where they live in the wild and copy that. This is very helpful and has always helped me.
ОтветитьI am looking your Videos to geht Inspiration. You‘re such a talented Person 🥰🤗
Ответитьhey ik heb even een vraag ik speel franchise mode maar snap niet hoe ik de nieuw dieren krijg zonder conservation credits? ze staan echt maar soms voor geld in de marked
ОтветитьWhat I like to do is to build "Motto Zoos". So I try to build a zoo with a combination of habitat types and animals.
Example:
Asian Square: Only asian animals, only completely square habitats
African safari: Only african animals, all should be visible by boat
Rainbow friends: Only animals that can be teamed up in the habitat, every decoration needs to include a rainbow etc.
It might sounds restricting, but those restrictions make me creative because then I need to think about how to incorporate that into my zoo.
Melbourne Zoo and Toronga Zoo (Sydney) are both on streetview and very useful
ОтветитьI get my inspiration by watching your videos. Great work!!
Ответить🦓🐆🐊 + 🤩😉👍
Ответить"enter google pics and write down what youre lokking for"
I write down "huting lodge" for some ideas to build in my northamerica Zoo and found sime wunderful buildings
started building in planet zoo.. after a hour of work there ist just a ugly block xD
no really, your tips are very useful :) watch workshopitems or reallife buildings really helping out
Oh wow. I never thought to use Google Maps to look at zoos! I'm gonna def be trying this one (first)! Thank you for this idea!!!!
ОтветитьLove that you, show us how to. Would love to see more in that genre 😍🙈👏 Hope you have a Nice day!
ОтветитьI always look on pinterest for some inspiration. Looking for a building style or even complete habitats. Or even just for landscaping.
ОтветитьThank Youuuu!!!!
ОтветитьIf you have something big and specific in mind but struggle with visualizing, free AI image generators like WOMBO, Craiyon and Stable Diffusion are only getting better and better -- seriously, it's ridiculous and maybe a bit creepy. Try prompts like:
"A high-ceiling aviary made of stone and bricks, educational signs and rest areas"
"A giraffe zoo enclosure with a small lake, a moat and two minarets, North African decor"
"A mosaic of an Amur Leopard in winter colors"
"A small chic restaurant with a thatched roof, in a forest"
Be sure to use specific, descriptive words for best results. If nothing comes up, just re-generate.
If you're wanting to make a small zoo with some contemporary animals then the Nashville zoo is not a bad place to try.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing these tips!! I've been really struggling with how to start new zoos lately, so hopefully things will improve from now on. :D
ОтветитьI get sooo much inspiration from your builds! I always look for your videos first if I need anything planet zoo. 😊
ОтветитьThis is just the video i needed, thank u!!
ОтветитьI like to watch your community zoo tours which gives me A LOT of inspiration!
ОтветитьMy entire zoo is the definition of 'well what if i did this, oh what about this, and this and.........
ОтветитьNice inspiration tips, but that "just start building" tip is easier said than done. 😅
ОтветитьDo you know about the "Zoo Tours" channel? There are quite a few videos from different zoos in America. Perhaps there you can find something for inspiration.
No, the author did not pay me for advertising. But if he offers, I'll take it.)))
These are some helpful tips! I always find myself struggling a lot with some of the things you mentioned, it's nice to see I'm not the only one haha Btw, São Paulo Zoo in Brazil is also available on google maps for a tour!
ОтветитьThis is so great. I was just hoping you would talk about your creative process!!! You read my mind.
My favorite part is building the habitats. I like to look at wildlife photos and documentaries. I do not necessarily try to recreate it, but recreate the feeling that I get, imagining being there and how that animal lives. A tapir among dense foliage in the humid jungle, an arctic fox in a rocky tundra with the cold wind blowing, a moose in a luscious pond lined by aspens. Then I make a viewing area for the best immersion into what it feels like to be there. That's what I enjoy when I go to the zoo.
In a different stroke of inspiration, the recent addition of bats got me thinking it would be cool to see them in an ancient Egyptian tomb rather than a natural cave. From there it has expanded into a nice theme to hold a few habitats and exhibits without becoming too gimmicky.
Anyway, I struggle with the infrastructure, so I found your tips very helpful. I had no idea you could walk through a zoo in Google maps! Denver Zoo allowed it, but it looks like they were doing a lot of construction at the time, haha.
I havent visited a zoo in ages! I did an internship at Artis years and years ago, I should really visit again to see how it changed!
I really like the masterplan tip. I tend to need visuals to help me out, so even if it takes time, it looks like something that could really help me! Thanks 🥰
Hey from Denmark! :) Love your videoes! They inspire me so much <3
ОтветитьAwesome video!!!
ОтветитьPinterest left the video 🤪😂 It’s a great video tough! 😍
ОтветитьDo you have any video about hiding staff buildings in your zoo? I would love to watch it. I'm struggling with it very often ❤
ОтветитьOmg just in time to upload this! I’m really having an artblock when it comes to building
