All well-chosen, practical tips —except for the avoid-l'Avenue-des-Champs-Élysées one. I would cite its pluses instead. Yes, it's not Belleville or Batignolles, but it's a major axis of the city [I needn't tell you.] with 3 —count 'em— métro stops, a park-like segment and plenty of places that are not overpriced, &c. [I will often stop in at the branch of La Brioche Dorée for a quick, un-hip coffee and viennoiseries, ditto.], with numerous worthwhile spots not far via cross-streets. No need to turn up le nez. Just saying. Merci et Bonne Continuation ... mention

ОтветитьFriends, Can be, Sometimes leave. Real friends are no matter where you/they are. Love social computer. Aloha
ОтветитьSpeaking about l'Arc de Triomphe, if you intend to get there by metro, don't leave the train at the CDG Étoile station, choose some station before, such as George V or Kléber. Étoile station is huge, confusing, with lots of exits you probably will choose the wrong one, and full of scammers and pickpockets.
ОтветитьGood for you for staying! Every Olympic city has been riddled with controversy and negativity prior to the Games and almost every city has come through and ended up shining at the greatest party on the planet. Paris will do it, it wouldn't be Paris if it didn't. You are so lucky! Have a blast this summer!
ОтветитьGreat guide!
ОтветитьI can use a potable oxygen concentrator or Mobility scooter, so can I spend a month at a B&B in Paris?
ОтветитьI need a Handicapp scooter- can I live in Paris for a month at a B&B ?
ОтветитьFinally someone who shows real tips
ОтветитьAux Champs Élysées is correct, A Champs Elysées is wrong. Why you ask, the word Champs or fields in English is plural, therefore aux champs is right. If it was singular, Champ in English field it would be A Le Champ Elysées. After hearing you say Aux Champs Elysées was wrong I thought, if he’s this far off on basic French grammar the rest of his video is probably crap so I stopped watching. Suggestion, before correcting the French on their grammar in their own country do your homework.
ОтветитьEven though I'm not planing to come to Paris, it's interesting to hear how things are done. Your dog is cute. Is it a French bulldog ? My nice hsd onr snd it's adorble.
ОтветитьGonna be in Paris/France for 8 months next year and your videos have been helping me out. Definitely gonna check out your guide! 😊
ОтветитьCafé Richard 😅😂🤣
ОтветитьDo you have tips have tips to avoid riots and supermulots while in Paris? (I am a francophone and I find hilarious that they call rats supermulots 😂).
ОтветитьThe Eastern part of the Champs-Élysées (the part with huge trees) seem to be quite nice. It is on my to do list for my next trip in Paris.
ОтветитьLaundromat credit card readers...eh, great place for skimmers🤪 BTW: Didn't you say not to use one that you tap?
ОтветитьThese are produced so well! I am traveling to Paris next year and your tips are super valuable for planning on my own without a travel agent!
ОтветитьLove how straight to the point all your videos are!!! Thank you all the way from NJ ❤
ОтветитьGreat video Jay. Could you do a video about how you got your dog over there. We're headed that way for a month next Spring and want to bring our pup with us. I've seen conflicting information about how to accomplish the task. Any lead that informs in whole or in part would be a great help.
ОтветитьLove these tips. Perfect. Just a question that I’m still confused about. Can I use my Navigo card to go to the airport? I just need enough on it for zone 5? Now to the rest of this vid. Exciting!
ОтветитьPourquoi ne faut-il absolument pas brancher ses appareils USB sur des bornes publiques ?
ОтветитьI can't entirely agree with Champs Elysees. The reason is that most Luxury designers are produced in Paris, France. So there is quite a significant price decrease and VAT tax refund(on top), which is even better!! So if your wanting designer items, DEF go to Champys Elyeees. If you're not into luxury products then, Yes, skip it. (:
ОтветитьEnjoy your commentary and speaking style.
ОтветитьAs a french person living in paris i'd like to give you yet another advice: try to avoid paris as much as you can. Maybe stay there one day to see the basics (louvre, montmartre) but leave fast ! And if you want to stay more than one day, try to find an acomodation outside of paris (i suggest the western suburbs, it's gonna be cheaper and WAY MORE safe). And you can easily go to paris with the RER C. But there are so many goegeous places in france, with beautiful nature, architecture, food and nice people (yes i swear !), don't waste too much time in that stinky hole filled with thieves paris has become. You might end up disapointed and traumatized.
ОтветитьIs it safe to take the train from the airport into Paris, I’ve heard some things.
ОтветитьGoing to have to master how to say "une carafe d'eau" for free tap water
ОтветитьHay im from indonesia
ОтветитьIconic as always🤍
ОтветитьGoing to Paris next week for the first time and I’m officially terrified
ОтветитьThe buses in Paris don’t take the paper tickets anymore? I went in May 2022 and we kept going to the metro stops to buy more paper tickets for the buses. We need to now get a navigo card? I’m fine with that I just want to be sure lol
ОтветитьIs the Paris Museum Pass worth it?
ОтветитьWhat do you mean ambulances are free in Paris? Why would an ambulance not be free? 🚑???
ОтветитьGreat tips!!
ОтветитьAs a Parisian, I totally agree with you on The Champs Élysées. No Parisians come there. It was once a very beautiful Avenue, but it has no interest anymore, except the part between Franklin Roosevelt and Place de la Concorde : but is mainly gardens there 😉
ОтветитьWell I'm here on John Rogers's recommendation because me & my son are going to Paris next year for my 50th birthday ☺️ I can't wait to learn about the city 🌺
ОтветитьThanks, Jay! You are awesome, man!
ОтветитьDude. You crushed this one - so natural on camera now.
But you did miss the opportunity to say. HOW BOUT THEM APPLES?! (when mentioning apples)
always enjoy your content. for someone coming from the states, looking to live there 3 months (perhaps longer) would you rather live in the 6th, 1st or 2nd. Or have a power ranking for them. Thanks!
ОтветитьHoping you make some more like these. They really helped me during my trip to Paris earlier this month.
ОтветитьI don’t know what you’re talking about. I love the champs Élysée… from Franklin Roosevelt towards the Jardin des tuileries 😂
ОтветитьTip #27 - Your dog is welcome in the metro.
ОтветитьTo me, the interesting part of the Champs Élysées is the Est part with big trees and no store.
ОтветитьYou have a Kinto Travel Tumbler! We sell these in our online tea shop. The best! And hey, love your content - how you shoot, and the dog. So, so good!!!!
ОтветитьGreat advice and you look so healthy and snazzy! I hope you feel good on the inside too! 😉😁
