alligiant isn't to bad

Allegiant is good to ride if you like less pressure on your ears and other body parts. Frontier is the first plane I flew the flight is more pressure. And spirit scammed my family out of there money and wouldn't give us it back so we didn't fly in that plane. Id say the best out of the planes to fly is allegiant I flew it like last week and it was amazing

I've stopped using these specific airlines because when you add up all the small charges, it ends up being more than a ticket on a decent airline that has 1st bag included and in flight entertainment.

Frontier flights weve been on were very uncomfortable. The spirit flights were roomy. Felt like worn down public transportation bus, but was room be comfortable

You missed the worst -- Pilgrim Air!!😆 I should have paid more attention to the name! It was a NY 2 or 4 prop plane that barely cleared the treetops!! Turbulence? - Nothing but!! Keep your airsick bag ready! You'll only fly them once.😂

Spirit isn't so bad you only have to help push the plane down the runway. And I hear they pull you up really fast once you're done pushing!😅

I flew frontier once during an emergency where I needed a ticket fast and cheap, not only was my first flight cancelled and my luggage sent back to baggage claim so I had to go check in the lady wouldn’t listen to me when I said I needed to get to PHX I had a layover in Philadelphia and she just kept saying we can’t get you to Philly until tomorrow to the point where I had to basically yell at her saying I didn’t need to goto Philly at all and then she got me a flight to Vegas for a layover thankfully but i still had to go through security all over again. It was pretty annoying and the seats were the most uncomfortable seats I’ve ever sat it the cabin felt dirty and it smelled weird on every flight

Allegiant is scary. Had a friend who was a captain for them quit, because he was becoming scared of flying their MD-80 aircraft. Told me some stories that got my attention. Unfriendly service on frontier, unfriendly customers from the Grayhound bus crowd and you get unfriendly service. As a former airline employee and executive contract service companies scare me because the employees have no allegiance to the airline and no or little incentive to perform. When I worked for an airline we were all employees and worked very hard to make that airline a success. Even though the airline no longer exists we have an alumni club with several hundred members. That’s company loyalty! Bottom line…….I’ll drive or fly myself before I get on any of these carriers.

Allegiant is the same as Jet2holidays, Having flown with Jet2 20+ times in the last 2 years, i should take a trip the the US and experience Allegiant.

Allegiant is OK, if the flight doesn't exceed 2 hours. Then it gets uncomfortable. I flew them recently and the crew appearance and attitude has improved dramatically. Spirit has operational issues in that if a plane has an issue, you just have to wait, and wait and wait. They will tell you with a straight face the next flight is 3 days away. Allegiant at least (at times) will try to send a replacement plane from Sanford or St Pete. Overall, if you choose these airlines, you have to have alternatives in mind in case they go wonky, and not be tied to rigid to schedule.

It's hard for me to believe there are airlines worse than Spirit lol. I can't even imagine! 😂

2nd comment on this video, but I think it would be cool to see you do an Airports revealed on some of the smaller airports these airlines fly through.

I think, as with anything in travel, one's expectations go a long way in "coloring" one's review. We have not flown Spirit, so I can't really comment although we have heard more horror stories in regard to them. Our personal preference all things being considered is Allegiant. We like the smaller airports that they often utilize and have found their crews to always be top notch. We do like Frontier's livery though. We live in SE Indiana and can essentially fly out of IND, CVG, or SDF. When we compare prices Allegiant usually comes out as the lowest, but sometimes on short notice Frontier has been best. Flights from IND and CVG are often just a few dollars apart, so we usually choose based on times. SDF is almost always more expensive and has fewer choices.
Overall we enjoy IND and CVG and much prefer them to most airports we fly through or into. We have flown SW, but neither of the other two you mentioned perhaps comparing so...

I flew Spirit to Las Vegas. The jet was not tidy, and the seat was uncomfortable. I noticed the leading edge of the right wing had old frayed speed tape in approximately a 12 X 12-inch square. Being a former USAF aircrew I asked about it and why it was frayed and old. The steward was a bit miffed. He said it's perfectly safe and the pilot signed off on the maintenance forms. I asked when is the repair scheduled to be fixed properly. No answer. It's worth flying a better airline and paying for a first-class seat. Save up, it's worth it.

I personally fly southwest from Denver to Atlanta 5-7 times a year. however, when i fly my kids to and from Atlanta, I fly frontier, and i've never had a flight leave on time with frontier airlines. As far as flight staff, they are always very helpful and nice. now gate agents, especially in Atlanta, are the worst. At times can be very "ghetto." Thanks for the great content, i enjoy watching you guys, and you guys make a great and cute couple.

no comparison between Southwest Breeze and Jet blue.....Jet blue is so much better it is not funny.

Piece of advice......always join the clubs with Frontier or Spirit. if you need to change or carry a bag it pays off.....read the fine print on the websites before you book......pay extra for the better seat which can be included when you join the CLUB or whatever it is. Frontier has 2 and 2 in the front. Spirit has the big front seat just 25 bucks or something like that. READ THE CARRY ON RULES.....you may not want to carry on your bag it might cost more than checking it. These carriers rarely loose baggage because they are so small.

The thing is like i always say if you flying cheap tough it out its just to get you were you need 2 be its not a pamper service and its always wisw to use a travel day just to get to were you need to be NOT ON THE DAY OF THE OCCASION that way no matter how many delays your not late

I took three different Frontier flights in July and October during 2023, each on the A320neo, A321, and A321neo, but only the A321neo flight in October had the FAs use one of the payment terminals that prompt for tipping after purchase. It would depend on the flight or which payment terminal systems are provisioned I suppose. Service was also a bit inconsistent since of the three Frontier flights I took, only one of them had the 5+ minute in-flight airline credit card advertisement over the PA, although it was "announced" as imminent on the A321neo flight but ultimately never occurred (the crew probably just didn't care). The A321neo also has newer seats with a larger tray table, but the surface area is still smaller than the safety card or onboard menu when fully opened.

Something else you can do on Frontier is ask them for trading cards that feature their animals. They're free!

And lastly, if you do not plan to pay for any extras (seat selection, baggage, early boarding), you can book tickets at their check-in counter when it's open (ideally during slow periods) to save up to $23 per flight segment which is normally charged online. I emphasize on the not paying for extras part because it costs more to add them after booking compared to during booking, where it might nullify the savings. This is true whether it's Frontier, Spirit or Allegiant by the way. And if you do want to select a seat anyway at least, Frontier changes the fees of the seats every time you open your booking online to look; I saw anywhere from $20 to over $60 for the same seat that I ultimately chose so I just kept opening it over and over untli I figured out what the lowest fee was.

Source: me who paid $32 at the SFO ticket counter to fly Frontier SFO-ONT-SFO in July, and $19 (+$20 for a seat on this flight for video reasons) to fly SFO-ONT in October, each time less than a month before travel (and then $20 to fly Breeze back on SBD-SFO, using the same over-the-counter method, plus $37 for a bag since I was bringing stuff back; still less than the $90+ other airlines wanted for LAX/BUR/ONT-SFO on that Sunday, some of which like United or JetBlue still did not include a bag, and I got to help use up a friend's expiring Breeze credit). These super barebones tickets were more than sufficient for what was both times a short weekend trip to the LA basin where I crashed at a friend's place.
