ОтветитьMade this in the paninipress and it was ridiculously good -I’m somewhat ashamed for doubting it! I used herby sour cream instead of Yoghurt and added spring onions and some cheese to the batter. I baked the bottom halfway and removed from the press. Made another bottom, adding my toppings into the batter while baking and then added the half-baked piece to the top. It came out super-crunchy, super-flavorful. The reason I made it?: was in the mood for a toastie, didn’t have bread. Exactly as you said. Being in Germany I used 500 flour. Wondering if Italian 00 would work too, or wasted here? Thanks!

ОтветитьI just made this with a 12" skillet. You're going to want to use 1/2 cup flour and water. That may be a smidge too much, but its in the ballpark.

ОтветитьTried it as on the quantity he say on the video, not once but twice and still its not working. The dough is still under cooked. I reckon you need a Oliver's degree for it to be cooked. Its a waste trying again.

The recipe:
Ingredients:
4 tbs strong bread flour
Pinch of salt
1 tbs yoghurt
1 tsp baking powder
4 tbs water
Methods:
Mix all above. Heat butter or oil in a 24cm pan. Pour mixture in and spread it around till the pan edges. Add in your favorite fillings like tomatoes, cheddar, cured meat, salami, etc to half the flat bread. Fold the bread over, then flip to the other side. Cook until crispy and enjoy.
