I am a model layout fan, But this one left me cold. Too many trains tracks, too many different eras all mixed up, scenery not realistic enough.

They had a Big Boy restaurant statue on top of a Starbucks lol. I remember going to Big Boy as a kid.

Basically - it is like our Russian analog, called "Grand Maquettte of Russia" (Гранд Макет России). Placed in SpB.

Also, same thing from Hamburg, Germany - which too, have a Maquette of Germany as Museum.

Wow..this is my no1 hobby...my age 7 i live at loco. Port weld..malaysia. i like loco diesel..very legend..i want have toys hobby 1 loco with long rail...buts only the price its very expensive...mybe one day...hope miracle. Wow..this video make me back to fufure live loco staff house..

Great video and great job by the family, but I would love to see an airport on the lay out...depending on what era you are modeling (I was confused because there is a 1950s looking Shell Station but also a Fed Ex depot and Fed Ex was not Fed Ex until the mid 1990s) the Walthers Delta Airlines DC-3 would fit in perfectly, even if it was just hanging from the roof as if it was flying to an airport, or maybe a small airport with one or two of the smaller airliners?

I loved it. Very nicely filmed and not the least all the detailed set ups are worth a fortune.

What a surprise...Walter C. Best Wildlife Perserve! I've been there, we live only about 30 miles west from there! I love the ballparks!(I'm a Senior Slowpitch Player) Then you mention the steel mill that was built in Chagrin Falls...that's only 5 miles from our house! The Big Boy is on top of Starbucks, I worked for Manner's Big Boy Restaurants 1969-1972. Great, Great, setup! I want to live in a real place like this! I'm going to visit this place, Middlefield is only 30 miles east of here.

what would really make this cool would be if they had a model police helicopter that goes around the whole area. I would imagine you could create a program to have it be fully automated.
