I dont see any obsidian. So you probably never got the "Ice Bucket Challenge" advancement yet...

So you should Strip Mine or Cave with your "Iron Pickaxe" first. You can mine iron with your stone pickaxe. You should smelt the "Raw Iron" into "Iron Ingot" BEFORE Crafting an "Iron Pickaxe". ONCE you make an Iron Pickaxe. Find diamonds. Best below Y -38...
Once you find at least 3 diamonds. You can finally craft a diamond pickaxe. NO NEED TO SMELT WITH A FURNACE!
Once you make a diamond pickaxe, (Put water over lava lakes). Mostly found when caving underground at any Y level. Most common below Y -40.
You can also find "obsidian" from "ruined portals" which can spawn ANYWHERE in your Minecraft world, sometimes you dont even need to do the process and just find Obsidian in a "blacksmith". Now after getting the advancement. Congrats. Now get those "Ancient Debrises" and Beat Minecraft!!!
