What i'd like know if you'd advise buying the 2nd edition if you already have the 1st edition. Are the changes significant enough to re-buy it?
ОтветитьDo you have any news about the planned undead expension?
ОтветитьHuh!!! Guys! I spotted Blood Rage!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьI'm so glad that Stronghold Games got on board with Stronghold. When the game first came out Stronghold Games was just starting too and I was so confused about the two. But now they are one and the same, yay!
ОтветитьNetrunner
Ответитьthanks for that I bought it 2 months ago, but will open it now hopefully my thin pianists' fingers can deal with the tiny attack cubes.
Ответить2 things i noticed. couldrons do only kill 1 unit (except goblin), archers in towers shoot at less spots (only opposite of the tower). only the catapults of the invaders get better, the canons of the defender do not get better. still like te revieuw. ill share it with people who i want to play this with.
ОтветитьI'll be playing this game as soon as the missing components that were supposed to be in mine come in from Stronghold.
ОтветитьMaybe just me, but I really notice the improved video quality with this review.
ОтветитьNetrunner?
ОтветитьIs that a Welsh cap?
Ответитьto bad it takes 2 hours to play :(
ОтветитьWas really waiting for this review and here it is! Thanks Tom, great review! I got the game and love it. Only downside is that it's really hard to find friends to play with who like this kinda heavy/two-player stuff. :) First time to comment btw but I've been watching most of your videos by now, haha!
ОтветитьAre new rules compatible with 1st edition set?
Ответитьthis game just screams minis, I really wish rather than drawing cubes, you just drew cards and placed minis on the board accordingly.
ОтветитьIf only it were chits with prints, just like Orleans. Cheap, pullable from a bag, and more thematic when you have a nice image on there then a cube.
ОтветитьThanks for the review, Tom. Just purchased this game a few weeks ago as my 12-year old son was asking for a game where we could battle 'head-to-head' at a level beyond LOTR: Confrontation. We both really like it, though he likes it a bit more. I will always be the defender as he loves to attack. I won't tell you who keeps winning because that's just private information. :)
My son did say it feels a bit like playing 'The Battle of Helms Deep'. Not sure if I'd go that far, but it is fun.
How can it be "excellent" if there are still issues with the rule set... ?
ОтветитьIs the win condition different in this new edition for defender than the old one
