My cartridge came off instead
ОтветитьIt worked, but is it bad that I used a knife instead of a screwdriver 😅
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьDamn fine job sir, I was able to change mine without even watching the full video, standing in a wobbly chair and smoking a pipe at the same time
ОтветитьThank you so much! It wasn't hard, like you said, but I was so nervous I was gonna break something. And now let's play some records! 🎼🎵🎶
ОтветитьSuper useful and very easy.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU
Ответитьthanks for that..
ОтветитьBrilliant! Job done well first time thanks to this video and some previous experience with record players. Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so much!!!
ОтветитьMy UDreamer record player doesn’t have a spot to stick a flathead screwdriver in the red part on yours has a hole shaped like it for yours but idk how I’ll get mine off I think I need a new needle on mine cause mine skips on records
ОтветитьThis method doesn’t work at all on a GPO Bermuda. The stylus, arm and cartridge look exactly the same as the one in the video but it is impossible to separate stylus from cartridge using this technique. Absolutely zero literature I can find online as to how to change the stylus
Ответитьdid the big black part of the record player pop out of anyone else’s record when they tried this
ОтветитьI had a gramophone and the tip of the red tip stylus was completely gone. Thank you so much for this video
ОтветитьThanks for your tutorial!!!
Ответитьmy needle when disconnect is still attached to the black part— oh well. i’ll figure it out eventually. 😭
ОтветитьI have a Detrola with the same red tip. Is it true that these types of turntables are not good for vinyls?
ОтветитьAll I have to say is thank you, this was the problem with my great grandmother's vinyl player. And now i get to hear all her beautiful songs. Thank so much
ОтветитьThanks so much for this vid I was scared to mess with it until I knew how to fix this for sure so I’m glad this video was very helpful and made the process seem very simple
ОтветитьWhat would be a good replacement to replace this cheaper one .
ОтветитьWhat if I would replace that red needle with a superior quality one? Like Audio-Technica or something similar? Do you have any suggestions?
Ответить3 years
My mum's had the needle on her records player since 1992
Very good now I know how to replace it
ОтветитьMil gracias por este vídeo! Mañana iré a comprarme el nuevo de metal para sustituir el que tengo de plástico y que no da el buen sonido a mis vinilos y lo que más miedo me da es que se me vayan a estropear.
ОтветитьExactly what I was looking for, thanks. It feels so flimsy I was scared to take it off in case I broke it. Now I just need to find a replacement.
ОтветитьThis is my needle do you have like an amazon link for it?
Ответитьthamks for this post
ОтветитьVery helpful and do you have a link to purchase this metal tip stylus. Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьWhere did you buy the red tip stylus? I just don't want to buy the wrong one!
Ответитьmy new stylus wont click in😭
ОтветитьThank you, I appreciated the unique lo-fi sound my fucked up stylus gave me on certain tracks, but it's definitely not great for all tracks, and this helps me improve listening quality greatly while in on my first vacation in two years
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьFor like half a second I thought this was drew gooden based on the slow hello guy..s 😅 still a great video tho
Ответитьsuper helpful ur the goat
ОтветитьThanks so much for making a seemingly impossible job so simple. Colin in the UK
ОтветитьHi. when you know you have to change the needle?
ОтветитьThank you so much!! I can go back to blasting Mcr Life on the murder scene and pup self titled <3
ОтветитьI’m getting a high pitch hiss coming from my turntable it’s a Gemini TT 900 just bought it a week ago it sounded fine before but now it’s really high pitched like a hissing sound Could it be the turntable or something else I even switched out the speakers to Edifiers
ОтветитьI got a one direction record player at the thrift store, I bought it and I had it for like 3 months now, it sounded weird but it turns out it didn't have a needle on it😅
ОтветитьDoes it matter if the new needle doesn't completely click into place? Like it's still secure on there, but it doesn't click in tight and can see a slight gap when it's in use... Still sounds alright tho, better than old needle.
ОтветитьI was given a Steepleton Rico Retro player with a 3 speed table so I can play my 78s. Need to swap out the stylus for one that can actually play them though and had absolutely no clue.
Thanks for this.
Do these record needles hurt your records?
ОтветитьPretty useful, I really appreciate it
ОтветитьJust purchased a philco record player from the 60’s and the needle is broken. Anyone know where I can buy a replacement “Philco diamond” needle. I could send someone who knows these players some pictures but so far everything I’ve purchased on eBay has been wrong
ОтветитьThanks bro
Ответитьthis was awesome and easy, thank you🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Ответитьwhere can you buy those new needles?
ОтветитьMany thanks ❤
ОтветитьYou saved me I may be young but I love records I just spent 200$
