The torchbearers of cultural activities in Pakistan, Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop have played an instrumental role in the progression of the arts over the past four decades and continue to do so till today. Since its inception RPTW has not only paved the way for the evolution of art and culture in the country, but have also spearheaded a number of ground-breaking platforms that have gone a long way in the conservation of the arts in Pakistan.
The company has produced innumerable festivals and productions on home turf, in addition to representing Pakistan on a global level at events in Europe, Asia,and North America. The Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop is a unique cultural organization with expertise in the production of cultural festivals, live events in the fields of music, puppetry, theatre and cultural collaborations on an international scale.

Rafi Peer was Pakistan's eminent playwright, award winning actor and iconic radio artiste who was lauded as the founding father of modern urdu drama. After he passed away, in 1974 his children founded Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop to carry on his legacy.

As pioneers of producing festivals in genres from theatre to puppetry, dance to music, RPTW has launched popular initiatives such as the renowned World Performing Arts Festival - which brought a plethora of artistes (from over eighty countries) to Pakistan's cultural capital of Lahore -the Youth Performing Arts Festival, the Mystic Music Sufi Festival, The International Puppet Festival, the International Film Festival , International Dance Festival and the Saanjh Amritsar Lahore Peace Festival.

The Faizaan Peerzada Museum of Puppetry is the largest and first of it's kind in South Asia, home to exhibits from around the globe as well as from the company's own rich heritage of shows and festivals dating back decades. It is housed in the Rafi Peer Cultural Centre which is also home to an arts and crafts village, a cafe and an amphitheatre.

As well as hosting and designing International festivals at home and abroad, RPTW help to develop creative educational programs for Pakistan's children, run an Artist Management Company, have a complete production studio with post production facility for video, animation and music. The company embraces both traditional and modern forms with encouragement for International cultural exchange. We also focus on robust outreach programs that include initiatives for awareness, development and education.

The aim of our company is to bridge gap between cultures through the arts and bring people closer.
