I'm a current bus driver sitting in a bus right now as I'm typing just dropped off a group of students for a field trip when I return those students back to the school I will automatically do my child check people that have never driven a bus have no idea what you find on a bus including kids especially elementary kids

2yrs in a row the school failed to get my daughter on the bus, and essentially lost my daughter. Her kindergarten and 1st grade yrs.

As a Dad I knew what time by kids walk inside the house from the bus stop. A few minutes late they might be talking to their friends. 5 or 6 hours later it’s no excuse for that . After 30 minutes I will be looking for my kids . Make sure your kids are safe at home then take a nap. It’s the bus driver fault as well but as a parent your kid need to be in bed at 9pm not trying to find your child. And take that bonet off in public. Makes us look like we don’t have any class .

How many times a year does this have to happen? Kids freezing on the bus or locked on hot busses, it takes all of 30 seconds for an adult to walk from the front to the back and back.

This is absolutely ridiculous and happens far too often! With today’s technology, put an automatic counter for those entering and leaving the bus which alerts if same number entering doesn’t exit. FURTHERMORE, the driver should mandatorily walk through buses to check after each time parking !
