you are shooting with a under 30j air gun, you should try with a 40gr slug on a good pcp, if you have a hollow point on the slug the results will speak for them self!!
ОтветитьNow do an unbiased test. You only show both angles for .22lr. You shoot heavy lead projectiles in .22lr, why not use a lead pellet to get the carry-thru power and sacrifice the initial MV?
ОтветитьTry dieseling the pellet...see what it does.
ОтветитьI would have used a 22 PCP with a 40-grain pellet to have a more accurate comparison.
ОтветитьThank you user my thoughts exactly this was a biased test used to promote the 22lr use the same weight lead bullet and come back and do the test again
ОтветитьBRO DO U HEAR 👂 THOSE BBS BOUNCING BACK TO YOUR HEAD Omf STOP PLZ
ОтветитьWhile they don’t compare to even a 22lr unless you’re getting into some big bore and very expensive pcp air guns, I still have a blast with my Crossman 1377 and daisy 880, 1011s! They are so cheap and quiet to shoot no matter where you are! Looking at getting a Crossman 362 as well for some mods!
ОтветитьTry and 21 gr pellet
ОтветитьListen if either one of them can kill you! I am okay with either one. The point is to kill weather it is a quick death or a slow death.
ОтветитьIs that cabezon peak? I’m from that area
ОтветитьCould you please compare the sound difference between a 22LR suppressed win subsonic round and a pellet gun? I am currently searching for a good PCP, but many of them seem to be priced at $500 or more. I am considering whether it would be better to invest in a 22LR with a suppressor instead of spending that much money on a pellet gun.
ОтветитьCompare the 22lr with a 22 cal pcp
ОтветитьDo you think the .22LR ricocheted?
ОтветитьGamo is cheap rubbish. Lots of other better made air guns with far more power are available. Although no break barrel will beat a .22lr
ОтветитьFirst off there is no way a pellet gun has more power then a .22 rifle one is shot with air the other gun powder!
Ответитьi think its called a red rocket or sum but its a pellet with a small metal tip and a plastic skirt and it has so much penetration and can go through a car door js i had sum and they were very effective
ОтветитьI shoot 56 grain JSB in my Edgin Leshiy 2 at 900 ft/sec
ОтветитьDid we see a description other than "a sheet of plywood"?
ОтветитьDudee not only is my airgun heavier than my 22 with multiple attachments I feel like it freaking kicks harder and hit harder even it's crazy without loud bang
ОтветитьCan you hunt small game such as rabbits, squirrels, rodents, or feral cats with the air guns?
ОтветитьGet yourself some heavy pellets
ОтветитьI thought those bullet sounds were old movie sound effects I didn’t know they actually sound like that!
ОтветитьI made a mold to make heavier slugs. Haven't tried one yet but they fit in the chamber
ОтветитьNext time use 3/4 pine wood I guarantee the 177 magnum would’ve gone through it
ОтветитьWhere are you located that’s a nice lil landscape?
ОтветитьMan what did you think was gonna happen?
ОтветитьThis test would be fair if u used heavy slugs in Huben K1 .22 cal
ОтветитьWell 9 grain is a bit light why didn't you use like a 17 grain .22 Pellet
ОтветитьRim and center-fire is illegal in my township. I have a serious racoon problem in one of my structures. I want to give these a try.
ОтветитьDude maybe try buying a 140j pcp FAC airgun, and use slug peleton and then compare.
Ответитьtry some kvintors in that air rifle :)
ОтветитьWhen i was a kid i had a .22 pellet rifle. I used regular lead wadcutter pellets, and that thing would shoot through an entire Tampa phone book. I had .22 pistols that wouldn't do that. Those light pellets are no good.
ОтветитьTry an H&M hornet I’ve shit right through 3 coconuts with those
ОтветитьIt's all about the joules. If you had a airgun that could send a projectile of the same weight, at the same velocity as a firearm, it would do the same damage, air or fire propelling it. I actually own a Gamo Swarm Magnum Gen2 .22. It's about as powerful as it gets as far as break barrel .22's go. You want a airgun that does as much damage as a real gun, your gonna have to spend upwards of $1200, and that's just the gun.
ОтветитьThere's this stuff called "Math" that can accurately and definitively answer all these questions without having to outside.
ОтветитьMy father learned to shoot on a Savage .22/410ga over-under; It was 'lost' to a cousin during an unfortunate location of the gun during the disbursement of an estate. I searched for years to surprise him with a Savage .22/410ga and could never come up with one. After 3 years, I settled on a Savage .22mag/20ga and got one in decent shape... It was a birthday gift that nearly made him cry. He never got to shoot it as he passed away that winter but I now have it and I make sure to take it out grouse hunting whenever I go. Great little gun. Seeing your .22/410ga makes me miss him because he always loved it and I wish I could have found one for him.
ОтветитьBefore I watch: The 22 long rifle smokes the pellet gun 🤣
And it has to include distance.
You said that gamo lethal was the most powerful and it's not even close to the power of a hatson 135 or a tx200. That thing is not even near some of the top tier break barrels
ОтветитьHow much power can that gun really get with only one pump like that with no pressure build?
ОтветитьI had a .22 cal pellet gun from the seventies. It was walnut stock, heavy as hell and very difficult to pump ten times... Grear seal and VERY powerful. Would rip through 1/2" plywood
ОтветитьIf you take a 22.pellet and you stick a BB in between it and U stick another pellet and use a pump pellet gun and pump it 12 times it's really effective killed a rabbit with it its fairly large projectile going through the air. Multiple pellets are really effective to have a nice spread
ОтветитьSome flaws here. A 9 grain pellet is pretty much useless for a comparison. Comparing a 40 grain bullet to a 9 grain? use heavier pellets, make it more realistic. You can trade weight for speed in either direction. You are right about only speed. There is way more going on than just that. Get a heavier pellet and a lighter 22lr get the comparison closer. You're spread is to big.
ОтветитьA break barrel air rifle is a waste of time for a comparison. Try using a PCP air rifle. I have a FX Impact .22 PCP air rifle. I can shoot 40 grain slugs at around 1050 fps or 98 foot pounds of energy. Which is not far off a .22 LR and pretty on par with a .22LR subsonic. The 9 grain lead free pellets are more of a gimmick used for achieving high speeds and advertising purposes. No pellet can travel that speed and be consistent in accuracy. That's why most pellets group best at about 900 fps. Also once you shoot a pellet near the speed of sound, or over the speed of sound (1125 fps at sea level) it becomes very loud. A 9 grain pellet at 1120 fps is producing only 25 foot pounds of energy. For an example my FX Impact has shot 9 grain pellets at 1550 fps. But it's pretty pointless as the accuracy at that speed is terrible, and the noise is no joke.
ОтветитьI have both air guns and real guns. Love using both
ОтветитьProube with a pcp
ОтветитьThe only place air rifles are superior to 22 long rifle is in hunting squirrels 22 shorts are better than 22 long rifle in hunting squirrels any single projectile is better than a shotgun just my opinion I love hunting and eating squirrels and I've seen squirrel shot by everything I've talked about sometimes a 22 long rifle is just Overkill world looks like a shot buy a bazooka 22 shorts are perfect my 177 Gamo air rifle does very little damage and kills them real good my step kids always told me my chicken and dumplings is better than their moms my chicken was chicken of the tree LOL they never knew what they were eating squirrels delicious
ОтветитьWhen u think of it, they both will bounce around in the body either way they do damage.
Ответитьok beat mine.. 1800 fps with a 12 grain steel pellet and a smooth bore barrel
ОтветитьSimple, Kinetic Energy = 1/2 x mass x velocity
Ответить
