The issue is still how do you get your agent, or sync company, or attorney, or manager, or yourself, etc to pick YOUR song and consistently?

I saw on my publisher’s statement that my music has been played on MTV, Netflix and Roblox. I made close to $40 from all that or less. A friend told me maybe it’s a similar sample being picked up but I don’t know. I’m hoping for a real deal. Thank u for this video

I don’t know why , but I can’t remember his name he’s the lead singer of a band plays keyboards mostly he was on the thing where it was a TV show for very short period of time where people are bringing their songs and they would be four people there that were very high up in the music business and they would say OK let’s change this a little bit here in a little bit there and then one of the four would actually get a contract. Now the same guy I’m talking about, He used to be running from his landlord all the time in California. And he kept writing songs and then finally one day you have a check in the mail for something like $40,000.? So he paid his landlord stopped having to run from him moved out and bought all kinds of synthesizers and do you name it like this young guy knew what he was doing and I believe it was $40,000 either 30–50 grand for the music that somebody said in Hollywood that yeah this is a great song and he got paid so much that like I said he got out of that dirty old nasty apartment he described and that took off from there to getting in a band which is a songwriter singer performer plays keyboards plays electric guitar formed his own band and I think you know who I’m talking about so yeah …there’s one That’s one case I definitely know about where he went from being on eating out the garbage from behind expensive restaurants running from his landlord to suddenly becoming one of the biggest bands in pop music. That’s how good he is he just needed not a hand out but a hand up.. he’s from Cali. I just wish I could remember the name of his band or him but he’ll he always gets lost on me in my brain however course my brain isn’t exactly the best nowadays but yeah, he went from nobody to getting so many awards him and his band that he put together after that one sale. He bought so much equipment to make sure that he had the best there was and that’s what he did with it and he’s still a significant player in the arts and got a handsome man I mean he waited and waited and he knew it was gonna happen he got turned down by so many people but yet it still happened for him patience is a virtue. You’ve got to believe that you’ve got to believe that.I’m saying this because I forgot all about how he broke into the music industry and this was how .He was persistent, and he made his dreams come true. God bless him because I’m in that group that he was in until we got that 3040 $50,000 check that made everything right and in his head that’s what it was people love my music.! And he’s done fine ever sents .. sorry for any mistakes but that’s just my voice recognition system going haywire again. I do stocks Monday through Friday and sometimes I say something about a particular stock and it doesn’t come out right and it’s like all that I gotta erase it redo it but I’m not gonna do that with this I think you get the jest. Thank you for putting it out there for everybody to know…Because I forgot all about it myself. Until the commercial came on about you. Imagine that. It’s amazing how things go.

Hello Jesse. Do you think you can make at least 52k a year doing this? I’m not sure if I should keep pursuing this as a career as I don’t know if I can support myself long term.

Am I able to pitch tracks that are already released with a publisher or should I take down the ones I want to use for sync licensing before I pitch them? Is it bad to send them tracks I made many years ago?

I keep telling my musician friends to get into it but the time it takes to get a few bucks usually demotivates them... unfortunately, I did not do anything for 2 years from 2020 (for personal reasons), but I'm going back there because music is just something I want to do all day. I still get some money from sync from those 2 years I didn't make any music and it was only from 3 albums in one music library. Now in 2022, I really regret having lost 2 years of no music...I'm not trying to get super rich or anything, I know it takes a very long time to make a living from this but I rather do that than working for someone until I retire... And the fact you don't need any social medias really takes the cake for me😆

Hi Jesse, how common are Consideration fees and sync fee's on instrumental tracks? From what I've heard these 2 income streams are getting less common.

Hello there jesse, do you think consideration fees is still a thing?
I am currently working with 4 libraries now but none of them gives any consideration fees.

I need to check this out. Number 1, you're describing my DAW setup. Number 2, yum! Number 3 is the clincher for me. I don't do social media. Number 4 is important too, cuz I compose all styles. Number 5 goes without saying.

Sorry if this question doesn’t make sense, but what career title would it be to sync OTHER peoples music, and voices to say like a cartoon such as family guy? Who’s job is it to put the foley, voices, and musical numbers to the video? I would love to do that for the rest of my life but I don’t know if anybody would ever pay me to do that for them! I just want to help 😅🥲
