This was breathtaking. I am so happy for Dr Peterson and his wife. I read recently his daughter has also become a Christian. I feel renewed. His humility is really something to see and to strive towards.

Grace! None of us can never reach it on our deeds only by grace and mercy are we able to come in God's presence. Midway through Jordan seems so tortured. In the end he was bending to God's will. I pray he will always have the peace, love, and joy of JC!

The point is, when we believe… we are trusting and demonstrating our FAITH in the knowledge that Gods promises are and will hold true in that He who began a good work in us WILL BE FAITHFUL to complete that work in us! We are following and trusting but also knowing that we are only righteous by the coveting of the blood He shed for us that we are reconciled to God the Father by that very act of dying for our sins. We believe obedience is the desired response to that act (by His son) by Almighty God. We take it serious that we try our best to follow Christs example all the while knowing we fall short as we do still live in a fallen world. We do not depend on our OWN ABILITY TO STOP SINNING. We draw near to God and depend on the work of the Holy Spirit in our life to progressively bring us into a better life and mind transformed to the mind of Christ! We cannot do this on our own! These are things
that the Holy Spirit … active in the life of the believer, in a Born Again life , works in and through us to bring us to a more Christ like existence. We need ALL THREE IN OUR LIFE. The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit and God Almighty gives this freely to us. We are separated in His eyes from the World and thereby we can be called BY HIS NAME. Would Jesus turn the other cheek if his country were being taken over by fanatical Islamists or self-hating atheists suffering from half a dozen suicidal mind viruses? Would we live in Christian societies without having defended the borders of our countries with sharpened steel? It seems to me if Jesus was an Englishman today he'd hand over his house keys to the nearest migrant and lay down and die. I feel as though Jordan is leading us through a maze of ideas and intellectual thought which although interesting always results and ends with Jordon Peterson. Only when it ends with Jesus he will have clarity understand the truth and know unconditional love.

I came to christ 2020 and christ healed me of many diseases.

The prayer is not yet fully answered. I don't see Jordan as being "all the way there". He's still on his journey. Fascinating to watch the detailed bits and pieces of his moments of touching on what Christ represents from a kind of "outer edges" ponderer's viewpoint.
For the majority of my life (probably about 3/4 of it) I did not see any kind of contemplation of God - let alone of Christ - to be anything at all good. I got a whopping dose of a lot of religiousness in my family growing up. I would have called it an overdose, say a decade ago. But I called myself an atheist, or at least an agnostic. See, for me, either would do because it was GOD I really had a problem with. I didn't have a problem with the concepts that went with God: good, trust, faith, etc. Love, if it is REALLY love, not avarice in evening gown. It was GOD I had the real fight with. Everyone is different. I actually hated God and had quite the resentment against Him.
Imagine my shock and surprise when God saved my wretched soul.
Now THAT is when you can't talk for weeping.

He does yet get it . The Bible says that without works your faith is dead but it implies that without faith totally in GOD then your works have not meaning. They are hand in hand but to have faith in God or Jesus the Holy Ghost without giving in to their/or his supernatural nature then He has no tangible use. The unwillingness to see Christs Resurrection as fact rather than as myth is to deny his existence on a fundamental level for without the resurrection there is no Christian Faith. So it is the fact not that we are all sinners that will send us to hell but the fact that there is a God that loves us and will forgive us in all our weakness and stupidity if we have faith and love for Him.

We can never be good enough. That is why Christ died for us. You could never pay the price and never be sinless, thank God he was. Jesus is our everything. Faith is not for morality it is for communing with God. It is getting closer to him. At seventy-five, I have buried husbands, the first was shot and paralyzed as a police officer and died five years later. The second died of covid last year. I could not have gotten through either one of those times without Jesus. And as a sinner I know it is none of my sins that caused those tragedies. Jesus loves me and trusts me to follow him through the good and bad. You can't even be a perfect believer you can only be a surrendered one. Everything else is a struggle, so give it to Jesus.

That bit at the end went hard and brought so much truth forth I can't say that he is a wolf or a prophet but to know that he is a man of God made in his image and to know that he now understands that is pretty big to me I've been watching his journey to christ for a bit now and the conclusion was righteous and heartening
