I wiped out on a peddle bicycle going 5 mph. There were tiny pebbles embedded into my palm, and it bled for hours. The idea of going >20 mph without protective gloves is completely nuts. It's not as dumb as no helmet, but it's the next-dumbest thing. Your hands WILL get destroyed.
ОтветитьI lost most of my finger tips in an accident wear your gloves!
ОтветитьI think those were Taichi Raptor Mesh Gloves. He didn’t say.
ОтветитьGoogle “motorcycle degloving” if you don’t think gloves are important.
ОтветитьI am wear glove 😎👍
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the Track Gloves?
ОтветитьLiterally, why the fuck is nothing you review and recommend in all your videos available to purchase on your website?!?!?
Ответитьcan you find me a six finger glove on my left hand and a five finger glove for my right?
ОтветитьI fell down in the highway wearing all my expensive gear and that is the reason why the onlsy consequence was a very bruised shoulder, some "beauty marks" in my pants, jacket, helmet and gloves, but no burning in my skin.
Dress for the fall, not for the ride.
Saw a video where short gloves just flow away in an impact, they are useless sorry to say, but when they arent really fixed around your wrist like long ones, they are. You arent riding a bicycle, dont get those short ones just because its too hot outside.
ОтветитьDoubt there are many neurosurgeons riding motorcycles 😂. I’m an ER RN and the comments I get at work for riding are fucking annoying.
ОтветитьI tried to find the Tai Chi gloves "you wear"... The search for that model mane didn't find them. yeah, sarcasm....If you are gonna recommend something let us know what it is plz.
ОтветитьHow about the alpinestars stella copper for my female?
ОтветитьGot a bruse the size of a half dollor on my sholder from a bug. I was only going 65.
ОтветитьFunny you guys mentioned hands being so important after basically shaming people into not wearing gauntlets for daily gear. There have been a lot of friends/people ask me about what bike I recommend, what gear, and how to go about starting to ride and I always tell them to not cheap out on a helmet and pair of gauntlets. I’ve crashed 3 times in 10 years and don’t want to know what my hands would be like right now if I hadn’t, especially after fracturing my wrist on the 2nd crash (including skull fracture and tbi). I know we have different experiences but I love gauntlets for their look and their protection, so they’re a must in my eyes.
ОтветитьI have budget riding gloves (LS2 Dart 2 gloves) but was unfortunate one time when riding through the mountains and my tyres lost traction from the accumulated sand on the middle of the road which was also a nice corner to do some banking (yeah, stupid move) and crashed badly. I didn't wear my gloves that time which could've saved the skin of my palm. HELL I have full riding gears that I chose not to wear cause me and my friends were about to hike and I didn't want the extra baggage. Got my elbow and knee grated the f off from the asphalt because of thet stupid decision.
Big brain move, right?
WEAR PROTECTION, GUYS.
I went down without gloves and both my hands got grated. Couldn't wipe my ass for at least 2 weeks. Now I wear gloves everytime I ride, even if its a quick 5min ride to the store. Painful lesson.
ОтветитьMaking a joke about domestic violence on women as well? FWs.
ОтветитьFиck the bugs and falling... I have 3 pairs of gloves.
1. Warm weather, more feeling for my controls in the city
2. Long leather summer gloves for traveling highway in warmer weather
3. Autumn/winter gloves for cold weather
Everything about motorcycle gloves to me is all about what temperature wind will hit my arms.
There's nothing that can harm your hand more (on motorcycle) than the cold wind
My daily commute gloves is an mx pair, but after watching this I’m going to start using a leather dry rider pair I have.
I’m totally guilty of not wearing enough gear - basically because of the heat (North Queensland Australia). Gear manufacturers, or at least local stores, do a crap job of supplying gear that cool enough. Lightest protective ride shirt only available in dark black. I’m rethinking all this as I’m toying with the idea of buying a bigger bike again and starting to do some on and off road touring.
Those Evs gloves are good asf
ОтветитьI wont buy gloves with out knox palm sliders. Yours wrist will thank you. Leather will grab instead slide more an youll understand why youll want a more expensive pair next time.
ОтветитьOne time i accidentally forgot to put on my gloves and I felt so naked and exposed
ОтветитьWhat gloves does the guy on the right wear? The red ones?
ОтветитьI think it’s time to upgrade my $12 Walmart “motorcycle” gloves 🫠
ОтветитьCan you shipped to city of Quebec, Quebec, Canada? It doesn't worked when I order?
ОтветитьCan you do an updated video for rain/cold weather riding gloves, with a review for each? Lol
It’s really wet here in WA, all my other dainese gear is waterproof and multi season but I forgot to get gloves to go with it 😂
I wear the Mechanix Wear impact gloves and they work for me when I ride my motorcycle on city streets.
ОтветитьAll a bit pointless as your not wearing a jacket. Do they fit jacket sleeve in or out. We'll never know.
ОтветитьI'm a straight up noob living in rural sc. I'll be riding a SM 80% road 55-65 MPH and 20% slow geezer trails. I'm a northerner and wear shorts in the snow. What are some basic no frill gloves that won't let my hands become chicken skin, but still protect when I inevitably fall over and over again?
ОтветитьLaid my bike down at 40mph in shorts and a tshirt didn’t get a single scratch on my body lol god is good
ОтветитьMany many years ago I was a dude who didn't ride gloves. One lovely mid-summer day here in Vegas while riding my cbr600F2 (bitd baby) my left hand was actually BURNED from pulling the clutch lever by the time I got to my destination. It was about 115 degrees that day.
ОтветитьI'm going for Knox Handroid Mk4. There is also a pod version (short cuff). Fantastic protection though probably not enough ventilation for Texas. Looks great (my opinion) but maybe not for everyone. A love/hate appearance.
Ответитьas a professional piano player. I say that Hands are overrated
ОтветитьWhen I was young I took a spill and my hand went knuckles down on the right side of my body. It scraped a good amount of the protective material off my glove and I moved my hand rather quickly away.
If I didn’t have those gloves my right hand would probably not be the 100% use of it I have today.
Knuckle protection on the back of the glove is really important. I had a lowside on the track and it was the back of my gloves that took the hit.
A friend hit a deer and as he was sliding down the asphalt, his gloves wore through the back, right down to his skin. He had several broken ribs and other injuries, but his gear saved him from road rash. He now uses armored gloves.
Any glove is better than no glove. I loved the light minimalist summer gloves, but last week I had a wasp in my jacket sleeve entering by the small gap around my wrist. The wasp was really upset and made sure I was aware....My next glove will be covering the jacket sleeves. I may still meet upset wasps...I just want them to be OUT of my clothes
ОтветитьBro, I wear my gauntlets on my commute to work and whenever I ride on the street. I’ve laid my bike down with those thinner gloves, so no thanks. I’m wearing the best protection I can on my hands. I dunno, I’d probably not tell people to not wear gauntlets because you’ll be looking goofy
ОтветитьThat was downright well done. The info was super valuable, even for me who has bought literally dozens and dozens of pairs of gloves over the years. Your comments on comfort, breath-ability and feel are something I am going to use on my next pair of gloves. Spite's comments were very on target. Awesome.
ОтветитьThose big gauntlet for daily commute on freeway 80 mph for 35 ride everyday maybe or still too overkill
ОтветитьGloves... sliders are a must. That hand goes down and ends up gripping the pavement instead of sliding... you have broken bones. Those knuckles don't like junebugs or small rocks hitting them when at highway speeds.
ОтветитьIf you go down the first thing you put down is your hands. Those delicate, sensitive hands that we use for absolutely everything. Just think about your life without hands for a second. Hand protection is the most important part of your protective gear after your helmet. If you can only afford two items of protective gear it must be the helmet and gloves
ОтветитьSo, I'm a vaccum forming plastic guy, plastic so hot it can boil you in a touch. Gloves? I wear gloves more than I don't. A bike would be no different.
ОтветитьI’m bad about pants but but gloves, boots and helmet are a must. Jacket 95% the time. Riding pants just... I can’t 😂. Don’t know why but it’s jeans for me. Even in the rain... Jeans’s.
ОтветитьSpite looks high af
ОтветитьMy hand around the palm is almost 10" none of your gloves are big enough. Spite you must have lady hands if these gloves fit you.
ОтветитьI have three pairs of gloves: summer ones with ventilation, medium weather where it's raining and/or cold but not too cold, and winter gloves which are heated
ОтветитьI can't wear leather due to being allergic to a tanning material that is commonly used called chromium. I can not find a good set of summer gloves that has wrist sliders and knuckle protection. There are a ton of synthetic materials that outperform leather so I do not understand why there is not a good protecting glove that I can wear.
ОтветитьI have 4 sets of gloves. 1 perforated for summer, which I like the best because they have great feel, 1 pair of mid season/summer rain gloves and 2 pairs of insulated winter gloves. I wouldn't even think of going for a ride without gloves.
