I got a Paki knife carbon steel a few years back, 25 bucks. By far the best belt knife I've ever owned. Skinned all kinds of game with it, got it all Indianized and carved grip is probably walnut

It's only "made in America" because WHITE RIVER KNIVES produce it for them.
Just go with a white river knife instead, white river ursus 45. Better knife.
No choil & a kydex sheath.
Produced by a genuine American company in the US, using all American materials.

Also warranty is a huge factor & cold steels warranty is abysmal, white rivers warranty is amazing. Guessing this will fall under the extremely limited & restrictive cold steel warranty.

Cold Steel Parking Lot Sale?

It's a good knife. Got mine yesterday, and already put it through it's paces. A bit high priced, but I get that you have to pay the maker you're using their cut too. I'm guessing White River, but that's just a guess. It looks like their work, and they use S35 heavily which is why I'm guessing them It's very comfortable in the hand, and it's a great size for all around general use. I can see this blade getting a ton of use out of me! A good camp knife or general use work knife.
When I saw CS was going to put out a USA made blade, I knew I had to support their choice by buying one! Please do more of these USA made blades CS!! I will fully support you whenever you do!
