why the white/blank labels?
Who ever makes music etc. you have to appreciate what goes on in making it ready for selling. Nice production.
Ответитьthis is the real music
I am still stunned that those tiny little analog grooves carry all of that audio information...
So complicated to make and make right. I see why digital is much more reasonable.
Ответитьwow
Sensacional.
Ответитьwarped pressings are a pet hate !
Súper el proceso y delicado
I wish i work there
Anti-vinyl people don't understand others who LIKE vinyl. Sometimes, it isn't just the music itself, it's the involvement in playing the mechanical machine and getting involved in hearing it instead of just mindlessly letting some anonymous machine do its work. Life required delicacy and discipline back then, which too many today don't even know exists.
It takes a lot of time and effort to produce the MASTER COPY. the vinyl records are fast to reproduce
I'm going to start calling the grooves on the record sound wrinkles. I like the way that sounds.
Korea actually has three pressing plants not one. I remember a news story once saying Calgary had the only north American pressing plants but there was 14 in operation including 5 in Canada. Fake news is just clickbait bs
Ответитьnow you know why a decently pressed record is $50
That’s why they are three times the price of cd 😢
AMO LOS VINILOS.
Good golly this is rocket science. After 50 years of collecting records I finally understand how they are made. Thank you very much!!!
Thanks very much!
Cheersss
A lot of funny things in this video :
-Good old Neumann cutting machines are still used made to make the Masters. This machine is at least 60 years old
-Illustration music used has probably nothing to do with what is actually on the blue discs (being KR it's probably Black Pink or BTS)
-CD's still sounds better than vinyl. SACD sound better than CD's. Hi-Res Audio sounds as good if not better than SACD's. The best recording and playback Medium is still Analog Tape but it deteriorates over time
Process similar bank note printing work. Fine work
Qual o melhor produto pra limpar Lp's que deixa pretinho?
Exelente trabajo... Pero como se. Fabricaban los. Discos. Hace 50 años atrás ? Si no había tecnología ..🧐
Back in the 60's and 70's a large majority of American hit records sold in Korea were made by creating masters of used records bought from American military people. Sometimes you could get lucky and get a record that was made from one that had been taken good fare of but for the most part they always sounded noisy. IF they were able to get a virgin master their record quality was as good as what we could get stateside. They've come along way from those old days.
Is he Al Jolson?
I wonder what popular records they have pressed?
Fascinating video (which unfortunately spends too little time on the lacquer cutting process, although I guess it isn’t the point of the video)… but can anyone explain why “Angels We Have Heard on High” is used as the soundtrack for most of the video’s duration? (It felt somewhat surreal to be thinking “Gloria in Excelsis Deo” throughout all that process, no matter how much I love vinyl records.)
Ответитьwhats the point of using vinyl these days?
all sound sources are recorded digitally anyway.
you are listening to sound thats made from digitally 1s and 0s
