Why is IG chopping my head off. 8 choose the elongated version and then post the video it's changes it into a square!! So why does IG give us the option of square and rectangle when they don't give u there choice 😡

I can't change my camera to record in 4:5 video though, how do I do that?

I have a problem. I tried to post a rectangular edit but when I step in the filter & cut section, IG changes my edit into square. I don't know why, I used to make rectangular edits and I've never had such problem. Any advice?

Great video! Do you have one on how to edit via Final Cut Pro the different dimensions you speak about?
I'll have to research this more, but I'm thinking after I finish the video, go back and re-upload it as a full file... and then crop the whole thing somehow?

I hate how people just can't watch video sideways. All the production considerations are a real pain in the planing, and for the most part, that content does not play well standard 16:9 workflow. Projects become unrecyclable just because its more convenient for the viewer to not move their phone. Probably talking to the choir.

I use software that allows pre recorded video for instagram live what should I do For that specific reason?
