Things have changed in iOS 17 (Yay). I've built the nOversight App (available on Apple store) to scan your current network

I tried like hell to change my TP link ax1500 channel to something open. It's not possible now I got a Msi gaming router and wow there are lots of open channels despite me over lapping with 25 plus networks. Not one person has changed to an open channel except me. Now I can stream vr and other games with no stutters. Also of note, I set my new router to auto channel and it still picked the worst possible one lol. Set it manually and you are going to be streaming like a champ

That app was really useful in choosing my wifi channel. I was surprised to see that so many people/devices were still operating on what is likely the default channel in their router. Several channels had dozens of devices on them, while some had one or none at all.

There are a few network analysis tweaks if you are jailbroken.

Maybe use a Linux based analyzer.

Nice to have this kind of app for the I-phone and I-Pad. I did not know something like this existed. So I installed Airport Utility immediately. Thank you Behfor! For the Android side of things; I use a paid version of the "WiFi Analyser" app. I'm content with it.
