We had a similar experience at Loves RV Stop recently in Cordele. Power did not turn until we talked to someone in the store. Still a good overnighter and will,be back there next week,

Got reservations at a hotel here in Hendersonville NC that for the price , should have been pretty nice! AAAHHH! , now I remember why we got an RV! Skanky here! So yes, I would love to be at your truckstop in our camper instead of here!! Be Safe you two!

We stayed at a Love’s out west after a long day of driving-just needed a stopover. The only spot was the lane right next to the gas pump! We were so tired that it didn’t bother us at all. We just opened the door, closed all the curtains, crawled in bed and slept very well😴
We thought it was quite funny 😂 One “camping spot” we’ll never forget.

You RVers have no clue of what you're doing when you take up space at a truck stop. You RVers have options for stopping overnight, trucks don't have options that's what a truck stop is for, for trucks. Truck drivers work up to 11 hrs covering 500 to 750 miles and need a place to rest, but there's a d@?! RV taking up space in a TRUCK STOP. A RVer that takes up space at a TRUCK STOP HAS NO RESPECT FOR TRUCK DRIVERS. A RVer that takes up space at a TRUCK STOP are low life scum.

I’ve never stayed overnight at a Love’s but have stopped to dump tanks after a boondock session. Only $10 for that.

I know this has nothing to do with your video, but I know that you have a lot of followers and maybe the word will get out about campground etiquette. We have a seasonal site at our local campground and weekend warriors 4 camp sites down setup a cornhole tournament in our lot bad way to start a holiday weekend. I wouldn't have minded if they would have just asked before they started.

We stay at loves RV in Jacksonville fl. we only last 2 hours there,,,,,,,, the places feel real danger. it was not safe period. never again for us.......

While I was truck driving (2007-2020) LOVES were my favorite truck stop. Large parking areas for trucks, friendly service all around, and the stores usually had a good choice of fast food and clean showers. LOVES 10/10 stars!!

Love's RV hookup locations are scattered across the US. I just returned from a 6,400 miles trip from NC to AZ, UT and CO and stayed at them at least 2/3rds of the time. There is a great variation in the setups at different locations but with the exception of one I was always pleased. (The only one that was disappointing was one east of Knoxville , TN . They only had electric at the spaces and a dump station separate. The disappointing part was that they did not offer any potable water.) If you are ever in the Colorado Springs, Co area consider the Love's in Canon City, CO. That one has the RV Hookups part separate from the truckstop, pretty quiet, it is gated and has aout 127 spots setup like many commercial campgrounds. A variety of spaces from Covered on concrete slab to open concrete slabs to open gravel sites of different sizes. I believe all have full hookups. I liked it so much I spent 4 nights there during my one month trip. ;-)

Better be careful with deleting DPF because some places won't do it because of a stiff penalty depending on your state. It never should have been installed but thats our government!

Paid $2.75 for gas today in Missouri.

I looked at my hubby when Naynay said "Google Maps ". We took a 6 week vacation a couple of years ago, Google Maps took us way out of our way like into California instead of Oregon. So we laugh anytime we look something up on Google maps...so much so, I want "because Google Maps " on my Tombstone.

Another great video. The wife said to me ... pull up the Hanks videos from Maine ! We are doing our planning this weekend for the balance of the year, and using your trip to Maine as a guide to finally getting us there. Been saying since 2015 with the purchase of our first fifth wheel that we were going to do this. Purchased a new unit this fall, and we are going to just go with it ! Thank you for the motivation.

We are staying at a Love’s right now. For overnight stays we prefer them. Oklahoma, Mississippi, Georgia, Texas, and Colorado. Most have full hookups but they all have power and water. And you have to check in for the utilities to work. Used to be $35 per night. 95% are pretty nice and fairly quiet. We use a white noise machine and have never had an issue. It is worth it to us to have level sites when we are not unhooking from the truck.
