Make sure you're SUBSCRIBED there are some HUGE giveaways coming soon!
ОтветитьWho wants to play with my balls? 😂
ОтветитьThe tech isn’t there yet. It needs to be satellite not gps. The ball has to be high quality as well.
Ответитьeven after disconnect it did seem to give a general direction to go. GPS info would be helpful on the golf map of the course. I LOSE SIGHT OF MY SHOTS AS SOON AS I HIT.
ОтветитьIf you can't lose them why do they come in packs of 5???
ОтветитьThey sound rock solid.
ОтветитьI want to know who invented it and where it's patent was made
ОтветитьThis ball flies so short it's almost impossible to loose! This is a real smart brand! XD
ОтветитьNot impressed at all, expensive as hell as well
ОтветитьUnfortunately GPS signals cannot pass through the shell of a golf ball.
ОтветитьWhy would golfball companies design something that would limit sales? They love the fact that we lose 3 sleeves of balls every round.
ОтветитьI'd prefer if it made a noise instead.
Ответитьthats the same tech they use at top golf to track your shots and them balls dont travel as far either
ОтветитьGreat for players whose eyesight might not be what it used to be
ОтветитьBad enough watching a £5 ProV sailing into the lake, I'd throw up watching a £30 one
ОтветитьI need it cause my sight is getting "older" (too much computer screen) but, that one failed.
ОтветитьIt’s every golfer dream but so far they can’t find the right weight and performance of a quality golf ball. By then every majors golf ball manufacturers like Titleist will sure murder you!
ОтветитьGreat video! Technology isn’t quite there yet.
Ответитьfrom where can I order it ?
ОтветитьI had this idea myself. However the app needs to give you an arrow pointing in direction of the ball. Distance away is not quite good enough as it had Rick walking in circles.
ОтветитьI'm surprised there isnt like a shot tracker like trackman that doesn't give you stats it just calculates the flight and distance from you and you walk it in
Ответитьwill gps systems help me not lose my golf ball
ОтветитьI’ve always wondered , if the pros didn’t have all the officials and the gallery how many strokes would they add for lost balls , i can’t tell you how many times I’ve barely missed the fairway and lost a ball and took a stroke
ОтветитьIs there a rangefinder that links with a phone app, then you can look at where the ball lands and the app marks it on the app for you to find?
ОтветитьDamn, I bought one of these. Now I'm disappointed before I even get it..
ОтветитьI guess I'll be bringing my Speedos because when this one goes in the drink I'll be going in after it
ОтветитьImaging logging in to your opponents balls and changing the settings
ОтветитьFor someone with poor vision (left eye blindness) this is an answer to a prayer. Where can i grab a few of these?? I cant golf alone because I usually have someone track my golf ball- this is literally gold! Total game changer.
ОтветитьIt is clearly not a GPS ball! It is clearly using Bluetooth RSSI which is a completely different technology so the experiences you had with the ball tracking are entirely expected.
ОтветитьLooks to have been made as a poc or for patent reasons but in the hands of one of the big boys with the actual golf ball technology could be really good if they bought it. Imagine if it could track your game too or give you spin stats, it would be amazing.
ОтветитьWhat a great attitude ricky mi boy does have.
ОтветитьIts rubbish, not only you should be able to find it, should give you carry spin shot shape etc. Its like last century tech.
ОтветитьI’m sure the technology will improve with these ( better cover, softer feel, better connectivity, and so on. 🤞🏽
When it says “in range” it should have an arrow pointing, like a compass.
When I slice it over 2 fairways and half a farmer's field I would still lose it
ОтветитьThe major golf ball companies are not going to adopt this technology...repeat golf ball sales would go down drastically
ОтветитьI think that the technology exists to make a great goofball like this that plays and feels good while being durable. The problem is money, companies make their money from golf balls by people losing golf balls and needing to buy new ones. If no one loses a ball, then they don’t need to replace them except for when the wear out.
ОтветитьYou can buy an awful lot of golf balls for the price of these poorly performing golf balls...The other thing is battery life..There must be a battery in it to power up the chip.
ОтветитьI'm almost done developing my own ball tracking system. Finishing up rooting and diag for different platforms. It measures impact, speed, distance, angle and depth.
Best part is, use any ball you want. This is modification of club innards and club face rear post.
Excited! Been 5 yrs in making. Lotta programming and material testing to ensure the top quality feel along with manufacturing cost for any company to use. If all works out ill send you two of the testing clubs. Driver and 7. I modified Titleist ap2s and can play at night with them.
A Scottish looper showed me a ball like this years ago, I asked him where I could buy some and he said “ I dunno I found it “ !
ОтветитьAs soon as you said Bluetooth I knew it was going to be a problem because Bluetooth only connects within 33 ft maximum range I think.
ОтветитьWelp, they just lost about 440k potential customers
ОтветитьSo is this basically an airtag in a golf ball? If it was true GPS it wouldn't disconnect like that. Seems like a Bluetooth chip to me.
ОтветитьGood video Rick. You talked about a major ball manufacturer using it. I don't see this happening because if it works they will selll far fewer golf balls due to not very many being lost what do you think? Simon in Oxford.
ОтветитьA good video Rick.
Ответитьusing pi(r^2) if you get connected from 10m range you have a circle of approx. 314 square metres to try and find your ball... not incredibly accurate thinking about it that way, and the circle only gets bigger the further out you can detect it from, lol
ОтветитьGolf's such a simple game.....
Until you start keeping score :)
they have a long way to go on this tech Rick. Not sure there will ever be a trackable golf ball thats not limited flight #1 and #2 they need to make them cheap enough to where you dont want to go to the car and get your scuba gear if you hit one in the water
ОтветитьLove the content but the number of commercials I am forced to watch will stop me from watching a lot of your videos.
ОтветитьPretty sure Titleist is making a small fortune on me losing my golf balls, certainly more than what I'd pay for a bogie ball like this one
Ответить
