Imagine going through something so traumatic that your brain splits into seperate people to protect you; living a life with memories you will never find because someone else is holding it for you to protect you from the trauma. They all hold different memories of her trauma and the most heartbreaking one is the child. Someone hurt a baby so bad she had to seperate herself from her head. These poor people in her head . This poor women.

Our system, luckily, is high functioning and communicative. Diagnosed in 1995 and reaffirmed in 2022. It seems we function differently from here according to just this small snippet. I heard about "A system" on tik Tok and we run more similar to they do at first glance. The main issue we face is not being believed because we're not exactly like someone else who's on social media (lord forbid each brain split differently) or because my others happen to be very similar to the legal identity. The real opposite others tend to be dormant or fractional so they're not seen as often. Dating is a struggle as I am male and the body/legal identity is female. You can imagine the circus that ensues. I'm glad this story isn't sensationalized. I need to try to find the series somewhere. I'm curious to what similarities or differences between her system and the one I belong to. Everyone always asks me why I don't know much about the medical community and research. Because there hasn't been enough out there that isn't bullcrap. This seems different.

Having multiple friends with did, sometimes I find it difficult to figure out who is fronting, sometimes I feel bad, but there’s not much I can do. I try my best to help and I love them as much as I can. I help with littles and I help with when things happen.

She is courageous, I'm interested into the subject I want to know what's best to do once confronted to someone who does express itself as things they're not, what's popular is military officer, do they want to be thank for their services or what. Personally, I might thank a military officer for his services but just for the form, to be polite. Truly I'm rather anarchist and don't reguard military as an honorable profession. I personally regard teachers as more honorable. But I've been confronted with people who invents themselves a military personnality I listened to them with a good ear even though I'm radically a pacifist and hate more talks about violence than violence itself that I abhor. Your video doesn't help me much about to know what to do once confronted to people that suffer from DID but once again, bravo to Jane to speak about it. How is being found in 1% of population "rare"?

From what I understand, she doesn't have multiple personalities, rather no real identity. That's why they no longer call it multiple personality disorder. Thinking your 11 or speaking with a Brooklyn accent isn't a sign of someone living with multiple personalities. It's someone who is just plain confused about who they are.

My husband will always hurt me by saying I have a multiple personality disorder. When I check the meaning of personality on google it says

I heard about MPD mainly from Ellis H. Skolfield's book The Shining Man with Hurt Hands. I'd recommend it. There is Scripture, but only a few key verses.

I have PTSD from childhood and don't have DID. But I'm thinking about how much more horrible my abuser would have been if I did develop it. They would say I made it up....etc..

I have some questions for people with DID. I find this very interesting, as is the study of the brain and its functions / manifestations.

If you learn to drive, do all your alters have to learn?
If you have faith, can some of your alters have different faith or be atheist?

I have one friend who has DID and we really bond me and all their personalities and we're sorta close and have sometimes got into intimate conversations not romantic just like of issues and memories that was usually just kept to ourselves but we're comfortable enough to share plus some fun part is that one of their personalities who is 10 loves disney songs and we love to hear "You're Welcome" together from Moana and sing along to it

I'm so glad to see this especially with the Letitia Stauch trial happening right now. Unfortunately, people like Stauch is part of the reason Jane has to deal with negative stereotypes due to her disorder. The brain is an amazing thing and childhood trauma is no joke.

from a moms perspective the only one who would believe their child over anything else. how could you not tell thats a lie unless it was their mom who would believe their lie over anything they had to get their mom who would believe it and back it up over everyone else in order to get media attention. that was honestly deciet ful they made money off of lying to you and causing disinformation. people who dont have it making money off of someone whos lying about having it. im really upset at the fact that you enabled a liar and this disinformation has been going on for years. this was just scummy manipulating actually important people and causing harm. when she completely lied through her teeth and people who dont know what it is believed it. but the mother really would be the one backing her up so they can get approval. sorry but you ruined the mental healthcare system by enabling liars

I wanted to watch this video because a lot of people have been faking having D.I.D on tiktok, which truly breaks my heart. This woman has clearly been through so much, and for people to just use disabilities for clout is just not okay. Spreading awareness is certainly the best thing to do. The fact that people needed to be created for comfort is so heartbreaking
