can do about it. The current foreign policy takes it closes to a
conflict with Russia and that will result in deliver of a nuclear
blast in central London. The bravo will end and most of these
idiotic politicians will die in the first few milliseconds of the
conflict. The UK leadership is inviting this disaster and no other
country will care one way or the other. The UK will be totally
devastated and if the UK fails to get the message other UK
cities will be gone within an few hours. Poor UK. Time for
new leadership from someone who really loves the UK

The former defense minister Tobias Ellwood is absolutely right in what he says. The world is changing and it is extremely important that the West reacts to it quickly. The West has slept, and meanwhile, Russia, together with other countries, has reared up enormously before our eyes, while we have squandered and disarmed for 20 - 30 years. 2 percent of GDP is far from enough to upgrade in the near future. We have to dig into our pockets and find far more, and I hope everyone is aware of how serious it is..

Expanding NATO onto Russia's borders was the straw that broke the camels back after decades of them warning that it was in direct contravention to what was communicated to them when NATO was conceived. Given the recent wars in Ukraine, and now this conflict with Israel I keep hearing all this talk about a potential WW3 with Russia, China, The Middle East and that it could result in the draft being reinstated. I could only imagine in this day and age if the draft were to be brought back both in the U.S, and the U.K how the general public(this generation) would react to such a thing?
