Dear Oscar, I just downloaded your EB2 NIW application and I am using it as a reference to fill out the I-140 form. I noticed that in part 6 of your form, you did not fill out any field, however, the USCI instructions establish that we have to include at least points 1,2, and 3 to help the USCIS officer understand the Endeavor. My question is when you applied for an EB2 NIW visa the instruction to fill at least points 1,2, and 3 of part 6 was in place or mentioned in the Petition Filing and Processing Procedures for Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Workers? I am asking this because I filled out these points and my application was not accepted due to the USCIS officer said part 6 was incomplete.

Abhi is right about lawyers. My case is non conventional so most well known lawyers didn’t think I had a chance. I took a chance on myself and applied for both EB-1A and EB2-NIW cos I qualify for both. This was an amazing video.

Totally agree that with lawyers we do most of the work. Of course they may help to guide, but often this does not even happen. And indeed, preparing a self petition should deserve a Master's degree by itself!

if you get through with eb2 niw visa 1) do you have to do the endeavour you put on paper or u can persue another similar field? 2) how long is eb2 visa for? how long after can u apply for green card? 3) do they check up on eb visa holders to make sure they are on certain path ?

So I am confused. Abhi had advanced degree [Msc] but not 10 years progressive experience. However, in USCIS website, they have mentioned a Bachelor's and 5 years progressive experience as requirement if someone doesnt have a Master's. Am I right?

I140 approval is just one step. Does he need to follow eb2 timelines even for niw? Or is it separate? Eb2 is not current for India born.

I understand Abhi can port his last priority date from i140 and he has 2018 and current priority date for India is 2014 so how he applied adjustment of status for 485 as your date should be current to apply for adjustment of status

Does having something unrelated to the endeavor add value to the petition? For example, an excellent IELTS score, a merit scholarship in high school, a letter from the prime minister during primary school, etc.?
