Super Video. Ich interessiere mich sehr fürs Segelfliegen, konnte leider aber noch nicht in einem Club aufgenommen werden. Jetzt muss ich die Sehnsucht nach dem Fliegen erstmal durch Videos stillen. Und mich würde interessieren, welches Flugzeug du fliegst.

Ich bin's wieder mal, der Typ aus München Nord, der sich mal 'n Outsid-view gewünscht hat & jetzt werden deine Videos immer besser (Cut, Voice, HQ, etc.) und obwohl ich der absolute Heli- 🚁 -Hardcore Fan bin,
ziehe ich mir immer öfter deine Kunst rein.
(das ist der Punkt bei dem du dich geehrt fühlen solltest!) 😉 ... [nur Spaß! eh klar!]

Bei der Thermik braucht man doch kein Flugzeug....da reicht doch ein Backstein auf dem man fliegt....

I'm surprised you use the spoilers at the beginning of the takeoff run. Aren't negative flaps enough to have good aileron control? Never flew the 29 (nor the 27), but on the ASW20 flap -1 was good enough even with full ballast.

Herr Langer would add greatly to the understanding of soaring if he were to discuss his choice of thermal activity (finding thermal sources, turning away from sink and into lift) and his cruising speed between thermals or lift sources, and if he were to occasionally point to his is instruments to permit us to see the effects of his decision making. It would also be interesting to learn a little about his sailplane (type) and its performance (L/D), and for him to comment about his selection of flap settings (e.g. negative flap on initial tow, to improve aileron control, and positive flap in thermals, then negative flap for cruise, He might also comment on the use of water ballast. The flying itself is pleasant, but without comment about technique the video is much less interesting and much less instructive to viewers who may not be fully acquainted with soaring.

Ich kann mich den Vorrednern nur anschließen, dass der deutsche Kommentar sehr gut und lehrreich ist. Du wirkst dann entspannter und lockerer beim Erklären. Dass soll sber nicht deine englischen Kommentare schmälern. Ist halt mein subjektiver Eindruck. 😉
Wäre toll, wenn die Variante deutscher Kommentar + Untertitel dauerhaft bleibt. Gruß aus Kiel

I also have a suggestion: did you tried to record in 1080p 60fps insted of 4K (resolution that a very very few people can exploit because monitors are expensives)?
