I see you included the mosaic (Phoenix strike) assassin as a 'starter' build. You won't get Mal's or Guls until Hell - IMO a 'starter' build is something to get you to Hell. This is an end game build, not a season 'starter' build.

Cool video, for starter sorc i usually go lightning then level 30 respec to orb then tranisition to hydra/orb for hell so i can run hell chaos sanc aswell as andy/mephi

I have no idea what toon I'm playing this season. I've been playing d2 off and on for 20yrs and have NEVER started an assassin.

yea im still on the fence if im gonna play. blizzard have just given up. first they fuck d4 up so bad it made history, then they cant even make a single new item or balance change sumthing not even patch notes.. they just dont care about us players at all anymore.

last season our group got 1 person geared with low end smiter and got another with 2 mosaics. by second week we where chillin.

If you never played (low equipment) nova sorc: don't start with it. You are gonna be miserable and either die over and over again or play inefficently. It's super rewarding, once you have the muscle memory of when to teleport away and teleport back to play at max efficeny, but if you don't have that muscle memory play any other sorc type and you are gonna be better off.

Nova sorc is easy and best once hit nightmare mode I just farmed arcane sentry hard and then same thing in hell

Why people think mosaic needs nurf when it makes slower runs than ama and sorc on players 8 I really don't get it

If people just play ladder to start fresh then who cares how "fast" your character is. Play anything you want. If youre just going for speed make a sorc...plain and simple.

LF Jav zon is what I’m starting. Amazing damage with little to no gear, can be shopped. Best for clearing cows to get those bases at start and great Chaos/Baal farmer in P8 games.

Any advice on a sorc fire build to start with and keep without respeccing? I’d like to try fire this time around without falling to far behind the blizzard crowd.

Do you put any points in vita on nova sorc in the start?
Because im trying to play nova in songle player, and i get one shoted all the time, and im trying the no respec method.. 😕

Mosaic sin is no more broken then hammerdin. If anything, mosaic is less broken, because building charges can be pretty risky if you drop them. Hammerdin doesnt have any kind of ramp. Dont know why people hate on mosaic sin so much.

Trap sin is a pretty underrated starter too. Death sentry for corpse explosion and traps do decent damage. They are also pretty tanky and u can use ur skills at range. Ill be going javazon this season first time ever

I am glad to get another season with the Mosaic Assassin. I don’t know about that guy’s test.. the game can only be so difficult. I still think that new and more difficult content could be created for balance. Still a chance for a last minute nerf 😢

A video about the builds that are not particularly good for starting the season would also be nice. Great stuff as usual, keep slaying!
