Minunată prezentare,❤❤❤ salutări de peste Dunăre. Vecinii noștrii bulgari, au clasă în tot ce fac. Au turism de calitate, sunt ospitalieri, oameni serioși, organizați. Avem multe de învățat de la dânșii. ❤ Castelul reginei Maria(a României)de la Balcik și vasta grădină sunt extraordinar de frumos întreținute. O națiune remarcabilă, cu un tezaur uimitor, unic în lume. Bucătăria delicioasă, modul de servire și ambianța, sunt mereu peste așteptări ! Rick Steves you are the best guide .

My heart warmed from all the positivity in the comment section. Love when people appreciate the beauty of simplicity. As a bulgarian, travelling around the world I really get fascinated by the scenery peaks, the delicious food and warm-hearted people in my own countrie. The Balkan countries are amazing, really worth visiting them. Each one has its own charm, but one thing is for sure the people there will be always the most kindest and real ones in comparison to other countries.

What a piece of Western propaganda.

I know this was 5 year ago and Western knowledge of "the East" has changed quite a bit, but just so it's said... Alexander Nevsky wasn't Russian, he was Rus' of Novgorod - a Republic which was overthrown by the Duchy of Moskva - what we now know today as Russia.

This myth that he is Russian only helps perpetrate Russian colonialism - like "Americans" that thought it must have been Greeks or white explorers in the past who actually brought culture to the Native Americans and built the structures they owned.

Erase someone else's history and claim it as someone else's, and it's not the first time I've seen your show promote these ideas. Someone in the writing staff during this period really needed to be let go.

Some things need correction!We don`t just Use Cyrillic and celebrate it IT IS FOUND IN BULGARIA! There was an Ottoman slavery NOT RULE! There never was Russian rule-we admire and love Russian people for being THE ONLY ONE nation helping us finally get our freedom back from Ottoman terror and slavery! I really dislike the lack of respect to my world and misrepresenting of important facts!!!! Bulgaria was a Cultural center an with big influence to East Europe not just melting pot!
