Star Wars: The Tragedy of the Clones

So ironic. Ironic that the majority of clones despite all their breeding, genetic modifications, and training just weren’t compatible with the Galactic Empire. Ironic that the best years of their lives were in a brutal war that ended with them gunning down leaders and friends who they were very loyal to. Ironic that they are among the first to realize the Empire isn’t the Republic despite the government having the same leader and using white-armored soldiers and Star Destroyers. Then again, all this irony could be considered foreshadowed as soon as Clones began to give themselves names, paint their armor, and do their hair. Just imagine if the majority of clones lived to see the rise of the Rebel Alliance. They surely would have filled up the ranks quickly.

This is maybe my 5th time coming back to watch, I love your edits SWFT and look up to ye. I just have one question where do you get your RAW clips, so that i could make my own edits :)

Ironic how the most fleshed out and diverse soldiers in star wars are literally the same person.

Why do I feel like making a ww2 animated film from this audio where the first part is World War II, and then it transitions to modern warfare anyone else getting those feelings or just me

What the people who experienced the Galactic Civil War went through are nothing in comparison to what the civilians and soldiers of the Clone Wars went through.

"Where is the honor in marching blindly to our deaths?" Is such a mortifying quote. The foreshadowing of it all, the inevitablity because we already know of the outcome. Everytime I rewatch The Clone Wars, I always hope that something will change, the future will be re-written. But no, all that ever happens is them marching to their deaths, blindly. It is nothing short of a play, and every act is tragic.

God i just watched the 5th episode of ashoka and cried the moment i saw those clones, the boys run out of that smoke into battle. I remembered all of the things that happened to these men, they didnt deserve any of it, if i could i would run out on those battlefields and save everyone of them, not for the republic, but cause they have deserved so much better then what they got, men bred for a war and thrown away after it 😢😭😭 thank u for this tribute its amazing ❤

It will always ponder my mine that clones if they wanted too, could of over thrown the republic in a matter of days and wipe out the Jedi. But they didn't and had every faith in the Jedi that they would lead them to win the war. It ended in them being forced to betray the Jedi that they trusted with their lives.

Besides Ahsoka it seems like pretty much every Jedi took them for granted. That is really sad since the Force is in all living things.
