Steve Wright dies aged 69 as tributes flood in for BBC DJ and presenter

Radio presenter and DJ Steve Wright has passed away at aged 69, the BBC has confirmed.

The broadcaster issued a statement on Tuesday, as well as words from his family who have asked for privacy during this difficult time.

The BBC Radio 2 star has been apart of the network since the 1970s and has been the host of afternoon shows on both Radio One and Two for over four decades.
