MYSTERY GIFT & EVENT Pokemon You Missed in HeartGold and SoulSilver

Why did I get a deoxys in either platinum or heartgold years after they released. And I didn’t use a action replay

You left out that with celebi you can go to the forest and he let's you time travel 3 years in the past

Omg I was looking at my HG earlier today because I want to start it over since I got my boyfriend an original SS copy for his birthday and I want us to start the adventure together, and was browsing through the PC to look if I needed to transfer pokémon before and I saw my two specials pichu. I forgot if it was an event or something in the game story, thank you for the video, I'll find a way to keep them! I don't want to loose them forever!

i remember back in 2011 i cheated the Arceus event and transfered it to HG/SS because it was said theat Arceus has to do smth with it and then finding the Legendary Trio Event was incredible

I got all the events except the dogs ones still one of the best games ever moved all my pokemon to pokemon x now

I got to do all these events, but my SoulSilver got lost and by the time I found it, it was broken... was nice to experience it, but now I wish I had the Toys R Us Arceus and Level 1-ish Giratina that was on there just so it can sit in my Pokemon Home... I don't know if the spiky ear Pichu would have even been capable of making the journey to Home.

For anyone curious: If you void glitch, following RETIRE's video on how to get Arceus post game, you can obtain an Arceus through there, and if it's obtained with the location being "Hall of Origin" you can still trigger this event today. I did it recently. The void glitch is dangerous so be very cautious and do your research before you decide to enter it

As of august 23 you can still get these mystery gifts. Got all of them past weekend

You can trade up spiky eared pichu to black and white 2 it just lose its spike and is shiny

I got the shiny trio during the pandemic 👌🏾 you can still get them.

Guys you can STILL legally get ALL OF THOSE MISTERY GIFTS even now that the Nintendo closed the whole eShop. All you need is a hotspot WITHOUT A PASSWORD, you need to change manually the DNS numbers with a certain combination and BOOOM it's all yours!! If you guys comment that you haven't found the combination online(but you will if you check well enough) ill write it down for you!

The events in this game are so cool! I like the Celebi one when we learn more about Silver and his father. A very touching story who developped the villain and our rival, that's awesome! The Arceus one if my favorite. Not only we are friends with god but he also helped us to get a Palkia, Dialga or Giratina egg. That's nice of him to allow us to take care of a legendary pokemon. Arceus have faith in us and know we are a good person, nice 😀

If you didn’t have wifi you were cooked lol I dunno what the devs was thinking with these special events especially in the early 2000s

All the Mystery Gifts involved have actually been preserved on a fan server and you can still get them by setting up the right internet connection on a DS (doesn't work on DSi, I think).

A correction for the first event: each of the beasts where over the span of 3 months at a GameStop event. You also only needed one at the very least to access Zoroark. You also missed the Celebi event where you not only time traveled but you could also bring it to Black and White and get Zorua

The thought of how these events were just completely rare considering how dense some of us were back then it has such a weird but unique feel to it, it is probably that more mysterious feeling we get when playing pokemon, in our mind its telling us it should be the same everywhere but for some reason it all just felt... unique to us, it's a really crazy feeling because I just woke up today with the nostalgia hitting me so hard I can literally almost cry missing my childhood years again, for some reason even when being completely lonely there were just certain things like the games, apps and animes that would just make me feel okay, who would've thought we'd be missing these feelings all these years later.

Was the OT for the shiny beasts WIN2011? Because if so, I have the Suicune on my Pearl

The Arceus event is actually easy to do if you have a copy of pearl or diamond. You can tweak your way to the event trigger for the arceus in about 15 minutes walking throught the void and with the help of some tutorials and then catch arceus and trade it. It will count as legit!

Kinda regret that I resetted HG before noticing that I could just play on a emulator..... ;(

I remember getting the celebi event at DS night at my local library cause I didn’t have Wi-Fi at my house

You can actually still get all the event pokemon using the hotspot of a smartphone and plugging in DNS number to your WiFi settings. I managed to get all these awesome items and pokemon just look it up it still works as of march 2023

I could’ve sworn Latias and Latios end up as roam Pokémon, you’ll run into Steven stone by the Pokémon fan club in kanto and starts up the chase for one of them

The zoroark one is extra cool when you realise it has a little reference to the movie zoroark was in as the legendary dogs in the zoroark movie were all shiny

on the time traveling pichu, It now makes sense why the Paradox pokemon can't evolve as they are all time traveling pokemon.

You can actually get mystery gift pokemons by using your phone's hotspot without a password by using None or open hotspot, create a nintendo wifi thing, and input a certain DNS for your DS (or 3DS), then connect your DS or 3DS to your phones hotspot, then go to mystery gift and click on Receive gift from Nintendo Wifi, it may sound a bit complicated but it is sorta easy to do, I did it and I got all the event pokemons in pokemon pearl
