That could bring over 125k today if sold. The 4440 has become THE classic to have. I can only imagine the numbers Deere would sell if they would bring back the 40 and 50 series. Sadly, those days are gone.

In the end it's a wasted piece of equipment. Who cares?! I would rather see a tractor with 22k hr and never been overhauled!

I have to laugh at the old timers drooling over a piece of crap old tractor. We had several 4440s growing up. They were hard starting even in cool temps. No chance in cold temps. That was when the the true "range" anxiety started lol. Our international tractors started much easier than any Deere. Deere cabs were nicer at that time but who cares if it doesn't start!

Up were I live here in indiana there was a john deere 4760 4wd with 300 some hours the went for $80,000

damn shame tractors like that aren't meant to sit they are meant to be utilized!

What transmission does this tractor have it is either a quad range, power shift or a synchromesh
