* NMMC BLOOPERS #1 * The New Mickey Mouse Club (1977)

These bloopers are fun to watch.

I remember watching this show on WSBK-TV 38, when I was young!

One more irony: the most developed talent in the NMMC, as of 1977, was Julie... but Nita was three years younger, and was obviously the one with the higher ceiling.
You can see it from the pairings on the show, right to the end... everyone knew Nita was a major talent. In the end, either something awful happened, or she realized that that pain exceeded the reward (her lone IMDB quote is ambiguous). All I know is that, for a beautiful year, she was scintillating.

3. Nita wasn't much older than Mindy... no bloopers. When the WDW special was made, Nita - not Lisa - was the center of the story.


Allison was lovely, but Nita was amazing. Absolutely the most underrated - and from this vantage, the most talented - of this MMC incarnation.

What's wrong about the "preview"?

I know I watched every episode back then, huge fan. I think it’s aging, because I do not remember any of the last few songs you’ve posted. Which makes these wonderful, awesome, to now watch. And yes, I wish Disney would re-run the old shows. But they’d probably re-run the later Christina/Britney Mmc first. I’d pay to rent or even buy the old NMMC episodes, if they made them available. If Disney aired the episodes, I would subscribe. Thank you for sharing.
