they only allow 100 hunters tried to apply have to wait until someone retires or quits to get gate access to these good areas or use a dog and airboat island hope is very very good find lots of nest that way

Teach the native animals to be afraid be cause these pythons are here to stay unless genetic editing or something.

Yeah it gets extremely intimidating specially when you bring the pythons with you and make it look like you actually catch them in the wild. No natural predators ?? I would say alligators raccoons cats turtles other snakes are definitely predators. Wouldn't you? Come on you can do better.

maybe if you decided to kill them as you catch them and let the meat stay where struggling scavenging animals could eat them would be a better solution then making human products out of them .

People have been releasing exotic animals (not just pythons) into the everglades for many years. It became worse after the python breeding facilities were destroyed after Hurricane Andrew, but make no mistake about it, the pythons would have still become an invasive population without Hurricane Andrew. Once you let people own exotic animals some of them will be released or will escape and can cause devastating results. The state never should have let people import these animals (let alone breed them) because they should have known some would be released.

More people need to understand how bad this python problem is. They have almost completely collapsed all mammal pop. In the everglades. No more deer, raccoons, bobcats everything. They are now going after alligators and some reports of pythons eating eachother.

Pls dont just kill them, dont waste.
Cook them. Dried adobo, the best recipe of pythons, anaconda, iguana is dried adobo, super delicious promise😊.
Check your house ceilings, partition. Mostly small pythons loves rats. Its dangerous to children at home
