What made me smile is that her husband is autistic (I am also neurodivergent) and that bracing honesty is something that always makes me smile and sometimes laugh. Today a supervisor who has been working really hard told me she will be on vacation for a bit and I said "yes! That's awesome." She started grinning because she knows I get along with her and happy for her...but my little arm raise could look like I was happy she wouldn't be coming to work. We both laughed a bit. "That came out wrong," was my response.

So many stories of her husband made me laugh because it's the type of forthrightness that often gets us in trouble. Lol
