I don't know how these "reliability scores" were even derived. It's like a wine tasting contest with grapes. These are just predictions based on what? The zero miles these cars have? Polymer to metal ratio? How was reliability gauged on something brand new? Even if you put 100k mi on any of them, all the polymers are still less than 1yr old. Maybe we can compare them for corrosion resistance in the salt belt. But those of us who live in the south care less about that statistic.

Now if you want to start gauging cars with high milage against their maintenance needs, I can track with that. The 2000 Alero and the Camry could use some love, not to mention all the Crown Vic based cars (Marauder, Grand Marquis, Towncar). There's also troopers like the 95' Buick Regal. A list like that is what I was hoping for with this vid.
Sadly, it's not what I received.

Here in the Philippines, Toyota Vios is used as a taxi workhorse and ride hailing service, ever since the inception of the Vios, it is a reliable sedan. Btw we have bad road conditions and traffic. It is also a very good starter car.

Consumer Reports is absolutley Garbage and has only a few selected Vehicels that are actually Testetd. ADAC is a better alternative. They have Tests and reports on almost every Car since the 90s.

I mean, I like Brad I know you’re kind of just regurgitating facts but I subscribe and love the videos. I like when the mechanic gives some technical specs and statistics that makes it fun for me as a mechanic the videos are always entertaining and I like them for the guys are also easy enough to watch and nice.

I've actually seen an A-Spec RDX running around, and it's pretty awesome-looking. If it were in my budget, I'd have one.
