Can’t figure it out: sing it! Instrumental playing is not that different musically from singing, and to feel the music sometimes or better said often all you need is to sing it. And it matters not how crap of a singer you are.

Annique, how does one not create tension while doing a trill ? I’ve been really struggling with that and Mozart must be rolling in his grave

Nahh I just copied what Adrien Brody did in the pianist when he plays the first trills of Nocturne N.20 because I don't know shit about music theory 😂😂

It's almost like the hand needs to be perfectly still, with a relaxed wrist, and all the fingers can move on their own. Also keep the fingers that are trilling, but not currently playing the notes, on the surface of the keys.

Call the boring ones "cheap trills."

Thanks but every professional musician knows this.. in an Orchestra w 46 Violinists and 16 violists.12 Cellists and 8 Double bass players.. 6 Flute players 5 Oboists....etc...and soooo forth... You just discovered the earth is not flat I guess.

Why do Germans say foreign words with German pronunciation, even when they’re speaking English? It’s the same with latin words in my experience. Not a criticism by any means, just an observation
